Remarks
Personally i have had not a very good experience with my college management, everybody has a different experience of a different place so mine was not that good but for others it might b okay.
Course Curriculum Overview
So basically in architecture we don’t have campus placement in every college, there are only 2-3 government colleges who provides campus placement. You have to look for a job by your own once you are done with the degree, m preparing my portfolio of the work which i have done in my college and also the internship work would b included too. While perusing my architecture degree i did 2-3 interior projects on my own, like a freelancing work. One was 500sqm office space which I designed that was my first project. And the other was a 3000sqm 4bhk house which i did 3-4 months back. And one more project was there it was an outlet kinda project which i did too.
Placement Experience
We don’t have campus placement in architecture department other departments does provide campus placement but not in architecture. It’s a field to explored by yourself, the work speaks for you here. We need to prepare a work portfolio at the end of the journey and that speaks for us. M in the process of preparing my own.
College Events
We had annual NASA fest which was conducted by the architecture department only and we were volunteering that. Other than that many events kept on happening Lile annual fests Fashion shows Some celebrity visits Seminars and many more like them. I used to b a part of the fashion society and visited different colleges and cities regarding that. Cricket competition used to happen there as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My fee structure for B.arch was pretty expensive.and if i talk about other courses it was pretty normal i guess deemed universities are pretty expensive. The lowest fee structure was for BA course as far as I remember. Other than that the payment method was paytm, card and challan.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yess there was a category divided on 12th board marks whoch offered scholarships. The 40% scholarship for 90 above students and so on. It was barely something who scored 60 above.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was okay there.cause the college in Faridabad so there was kinda dominance of a particular community but that was also not on a very high level, also these things were amongst male. Different workshops used to happen regarding some art or science or guest lectures sometimes.
Hostel Facilities
For initial 2 years i was in hostel and there were only sharing rooms a available whoxh started from double seater till 5 seater rooms. Most of the rooms were three seaters. And there was also an option for ac and non ac rooms. And later on i shifted to pgs which included food and stay both.
Alumni/Alumna
Actually we were the first batch of architecture there so didn’t get to feel the whole experience of senior helping junior or any that kind. But yeah with juniors we were very helping if they came to ask for something or take advice on a certain project or something We helped them with that.
Admission
I got admission in mriirs through NATA entrance exam which is basically an entrance exam to get into architecture college. So based on the NATA score we can choose a college if we qualify the criteria that has been set by a particular college. So i qualified my NATA exam and got admission in manavrachna.
Faculty
If i talk about my faculty there, Some of them we really very helping and supportive but there weAre also 1-2 teachers who only kept pulling students down instead of motivating them to push harder. Overall the department was not that appreciable the reason being our DEAN kept changing every 6-8 months initially 3 years it was all smooth. But this started happening after that. But in my last semester thing got back on track and new teachers were introduced to us and all of them were really helping.
