Remarks

All in all it is a fun filled college that has everything from studies to extra curriculars.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Really easy, simplified and very interesting curriculum. The teachers are lenient and cooperative because students engage in a lot of extra activities, but they also ensure that studies are not second priority. You can expect 100% cooperation from your teachers even before exam days, in terms of lectures and notes.

Placement Experience

4

Placement of our college is mostly on merit. I am unaware about the other quota or donation systems. Campus placements are not technically available. However, teachers are very friendly and helpful, and they tend to help a lot of students get interview calls.

College Events

4.5

Right from college festivals in-house to participating in other art and commerce college fests, MMK seniors and teachers are always enthusiastic for it all. Right from dance and singing to drama and theatre, all activities recieve full participation. There is also a great deal of participation for fashion shows, literature and quiz contests as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is basically nothing. It is a very affordable course at MMK and completely worth your time and money. Apart from this, you may have to incur some IV cost in one of the years, if your class has a trip. Additionally there are a few course material expenses here and there, but they are very negligible.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does offer scholarship but it is not a regular activity. However, for students who need financial aid, they do have a system in place. And also, every once in a while, there is always the trustees of the college who step in to help out the bright minds.

Campus Life

4

Everything is available. From fashion show to chess and from gym to beat boxing, you can do it all over here. They also have a terrace where a lot of students gather to have fun and make it into a enjoyable space. Verg less restrictions are there in this college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No I haven't. The college is very conveniently located and accessible by car, train or other local transports as well. Additionally, if you are not from Mumbai, then you can speak to faculties at the college for PG or rental guidance.

Alumni/Alumna

I have had the opportunity to know a few of the alumni and they have all been super helpful. They even come around to hang and help out with college festivals.

Admission

On merit based on my score in 12th grade. They do take an interview for exception cases or late entries as well. You can get in touch with the admin at the college or consult a TA. They guide you throughout the admission process and help you right till your joining date.

Faculty

4.5

They are very educated and well-learned, but above all they are understanding and take simplified approach for students. Lectures are well adjusted to suit the other co-curriculars of students as well. Teachers also make it a point to have revision lectures before exams for students to cope up.

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.
