Great learning experience

The strength of our college was highly talented students. As we've to learn on our own, it was great experience s only top students were admitted to the college. Faculty didn't help much to improve our knowledge it was self study and discussion

Common Entrance Test for Engineering (CET) - Karnataka. My ranking was 205 among more than one lakh students who took the examination. I chose this college because it is one of the most reputed college in Karnataka

Course curriculum was latest and relevant. First two semesters (i.e, one year) all the Engineering subjects such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computers etc. was covered. From third semester Core subjects related to Computer Science was offered.

We've to find companies on our own for internship. I'd to travel to places like Bangalore to find the projects for internship. It was very pain staking experience. No stipend was offered. All students cost

Placement opportunities was very good compared to other local colleges. About 60% of the students were placed.Companies that visited the college were: Talisma, PlanetAsia, Mindtree, Infosys, etc. Package that I received Rs18,000/- per month

Technical festivals were supported by organizations such as IEEE. Cultural event called Jayciana is one of the huge festivals in the entire city. Many students from across the state participate in this popular events.

As I'd received the free seat, my fee was extremely low like Rs.6000/- per year and hostel fees was about Rs.300/- per month including 3 meals a day and big rooms to stay

No scholarship is offered but as i was one of the topper of the college I received exceptionally tuition fees.

It's not organized very well. We've to setup on our own. There is no encouragement for sports such as Tennis etc. No special project initiation.There were no mentors to guide the students

Hostel was just absolutely great compared to the other outside options in the area. As it is within the school campus, it was extremely helpful in accessing the library, labs etc during off hours. Girls hostel was separate.

There is no alumni network. Senior students are gone forever once they're done with the studies. There should be group/social media to help setup the alumni network

Internals, labs, exams were keeping the students very busy. The schedule was very compact. Not enough time to focus on extra curricular activities such as sports, hanging around with friends etc.

Faculty was just okay. Few of the professors were exceptional but other teachers were not up to the mark. They did not have sufficient knowledge to teach, poor communication skills.
