Remarks

College management was good overall. Nothing was misplaced.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum was ok, each subjects were related to research, Genetics, bio-informatics, Molecular biology, Genomics, etc. These all are related to research work. Their roles are very much important in research while PhD because each and every thing in research.

Placement Experience

1

Placement for my profile is low, no any internship was done. In my stream no company visited infact no one came for internship also. In other stream their were full campus drive, HCL, IBM, etc. These were the colleges which came.

College Events

5

Events were awesome like chorus one the North India biggest event, Chorus is a much better event then any other colleges in north India. It's a 3 day event and big celebrities come and joins the event on the final night of the event. And the first 2 days are for the college students

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Security amount, admission fees, exam fees these all were included in the overall fees. Yes, the college provide transparency in the fee breakdown and everything is transparent. Transport facilities are also available and rates are very much feasible

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't opted for any of the above. But my friend had which was given scholarship of 10% on the basis of academic of 12th and graduation. And even she had a loan also which was paid by his father as she didn't get a job

Campus Life

5

Campus life was good, students from across the globe come there, so yes lots of diversity to be found. Boys and girls are almost equal, no ragging, no teasing cases, no discrimination even in my class 3 Nigerians were there and we were good friends. No political thing, students were from good economic backgrounds. We have some parties with our hostel friends in their Dorm. Extracurricular activities once a year held during Chorus event, Students from Korea, Afghanistan, Nepal, Srilanka, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Bhutan were there to be found.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No, I didn't opted for hostel. But I got to know from my hostel friends, that hostel life was good, they have shops, canteen extra from their regular foods. PG's were in nearby areas. Their were so many canteens and good food, it was awesome, I miss the food actually.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are not of much help, they rarely come at the Alumni meet, they are merely helpful.

Admission

Actually I had 2 options Amity or Sharda when Amity seats were full I had to choose Sharda. No other options left. I had to do masters and for that no government was available so Sharda was the only choice with some reputation. The process was simple, if your graduation marks are above their criteria your admission is done, then a simple interview which is actually easy then your admission is done successfully. And actually I was a month late then the semester 30th July was my first class in 2015.

Faculty

4

In my college specifically in my stream there were 15 lecturers in which around 12 were really good other 3 was just teachers. They were highly qualified and were having their PhD degree from reputed colleges. They were so much experienced that they have government funded projects with them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was quite comprehensive and relevant. They covered all the fields of life sciences in depth- molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology (RDT), microbiology, biostatistics, instrumentation, and immunology, among others. The combination of both foundational and applied topics was the whole reason I chose the course at SVSU. In terms of preparationfor the real world applications, the curriculum does a great job in building clarity and founding strong concepts. For students aiming to prepare for GATE, NET, and higher research projects to delve into, the syllabus provides a strong foundation. Regarding improvements, the lab work could be more one-on-one rather than a bulk implementation, and more hands-on experience needs to be added to the course in comparison to the theoretical knowledge. Speaking of the examination pattern, it works in semesters, with the first one occurring in December, then around April, and the last one around June-July. Other than that, there are internal tests held bimonthly and project submissions before the examination session.
