The BGES, Bcom (H), commerce perspective

The college infrastructure is good. New buildings are constructed with all the latest equipment. The college provides facilities like smart classrooms, library, sports center and hostel facility.Teachers are very good and world class. Most of them have industry exposure and have multiple research paper written.

The course was of three years part 1 part 2 part 3 conducted every year.each year had around 5-6 subjects.the college conducted three type of tests every year to prepare and groom.1st test was internal test to assess the students 2nd test was selection test and those who passed this test were allowed to write the university exam.3rd test was University exam held by Calcutta University

I genuinely don't know anything related to placement as i didn't applied for it so i don't have any experience of them.

Our college used to organise fest every year which is popularly known in kolkata as umang. different types of games like cricket, football, quiz, dance competition were held during the fest.the average period of fest was 3-4 days.it is one of the best events held in kolkata.

The annual fees charged when i took the admission was 25000 per year (now around 40000). We could make online payment or deposit the fees in federal bank.no additional fees was charges to secure admission.it was strictly in the basis of merit list published by the college.yes college provided full fee breakdown in the fees receipt provided by them

No i didn't opt for any educational loan or scholarship. however scholarship were provided by the college

The building is wide spacious and centrally air conditioned.Wifi is availible from any place in the campus. Library contains all the necessary books. Canteens are present which provides tasty foods. There is also a sports complex which had table tennis, carrom, chess and other indoor games.oustide the sports room we had basketball court.

The college seniors were very helpful. when i went for my admission i didn't had any experience about the place.it was my first visit to kolkata.one of the seniors helped me along on my admission process.he also helped me to find a place to rent.they were so good and made me feel so comfortable in that new place.

I got the admission on the basis of merit list published by the college.we had to fill the application form for the desired course we want to pursue( i chose bcom honour in accounting).then we had to select the batch (morning/day/evening). After that a date was announced for merit list and 2 list were published according to the marks obtained by students in 12th boards.

We had 5-6 subjects in every year and each of the subject was taken by 2 teachers.the course was divided between them.all the teachers were well qualified.the average age of teachers was between 35-55.our teachers had very extensive knowledge of the subject they taught us.
