Remarks

I would say, college have a good reputation from the beginning and still it has maintained the same. I had a good experience with all the faculty, college mates and all other senior and junior students. I was thankful to the college for providing me with the opportunity to learn and develop so many skills. Being a part of college makes me proud. It is always a good memory which I will take with me in my future.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Yes, the courses offered were relevant to the subject which gives practical knowledge about the industry and current business scenario. I have learnt a lot from my professors and my college-mates. We also worked on live projects and personal growth development. It helped me in my professional career to respect time, work and follow the work ethic. Also, it groomed me to make a real time solution for any problems and helped me in making a better decision and planning things on daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Placement Experience

5

The track record of placement in our college is quite impressive and consistent. In my batch of 110 students, we had a placement percentage of 98%. Our college had given a lot of opportunities to each of us in getting placed. Even the placement team have also helped us in getting regular updates on companies requirement and selection process. In fact, I find myself luck where I got placed in 3 companies and I had the opportunity to choose the best among them. My college also provide equal opportunity for internships, we had multiple option to choose while going for internship.

College Events

4

We have a couple of events which take place throughout the academic year. The events are divided into the different field as per the student's development program. We have events for Finance, Marketing, Operation, HR departments. We also have feast which our college organises yearly once or twice. In the feast, we get good sponsors and various college from different colleges come to attend this feast. The feast is called "Perception". Also, we have an event called "Sankalpa" which is a continuous event. The event runs all throughout the year and shows various achievement by students, professors and college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of his college is quite feasible. According to me, I find it a budgeted one where a student gets n number of opportunity and good placements. Also a good exposure to the business/ industry knowledge. A perfect fee structure for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

NO, I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. My father gave me a clear picture of why to not opt for a loan. He never wanted me to pay any loan amount or emis of the loan after I complete my college. He did not want me to take that burden so I did not avail for the loan.

Campus Life

4.5

The college has a well planned on all the extracurricular activities like sports, debates, workshops, etc. They had a monthly plan for different activities for each and every section of the batch. Both male and female equally take part in all the above activities and I did not find any problem with regards to gender/sex. All the students were given leverage to show their talent in any form(speech on a particular topic, presentation skills, dancing or developing a new idea of business).

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, I had opted for a hostel in the 1st year of my college. I was very nervous about my hostel stay and food, as we all hear the fact that hostels are very messy and the food quality is very poor. But believe me, when I saw my hostel I was surprised and shocked and also impressed with the fact that the hostel was so clean, I loved my room and the food which they provided. I was very comfortable with my stay in the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, we have an alumni network we all the senior students are actively involved and help the juniors in career decision making and also providing the opportunity to job as well as the available opening in their respective companies. It is really helpful and useful for us as we have a huge network and this provides greater scope in the market.

Admission

I had selected a few colleges in Bangalore, then I applied for MAT exam and got calls from various colleges. But the most important factor to take admission for me was the college fee, the course offered, placements record. So keeping all the above in mind I selected the top three colleges which fulfills my criteria. Then I gave an interview in all the 3 colleges and also gave an entrance exam, I was interviewed by the Dean of the college at Ramaiah. I liked the selection process and today I am very proud to be a Alumna of Ramaiah college.

Faculty

4.5

We have 48 hours of lectures in a week which gave a complete look in the present industry and also helped us in understanding the business requirement. We were also involved in various certification programs and guest lectures from top leading industry people. We have also given the opportunity to take part in other college feast and represent our college at the various fests.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time.
