My College analysis.

College management was very good at my time as all the events, exams and placement drives were conducted on time with good efficiency.

There are 3 internal exams and 2 internal viva in a semester and the marks of each and every exam or viva is counted in the final semester result. Also, there are lots and lots of extracurricular activities, competition, seminar and educational societies in which a student a take part such as ( robotics, VLSI, coding etc). Before placements, a student can get enough exposure to feel confident in placement drives. Based on knowledge a student can get an offer of a paid internship with placement in top multinational companies from 7th semester as well. In my final year, most of the students had more than one job offers from different MNCs.

In my final year, more than 50 companies were visited our campus which includes ( Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Ericsson, Infosys, SAP Labs, Wipro etc). There are 3 to 6 rounds of test or interviews (changes for the company to company) you have to go through to get the job. These rounds include an Aptitude test, group discussion, technical interview, HR interview etc. As placement head of the college guide us throughout the placement process and arrange webinars of most of the companies before the placement session. This helps the student to better understand the requirements of the company. In my opinion, more than 90 percent students were placed in my final year and many of them had more than one job offer.

There are so many events that are held in a year starting from the Freshers in August, several technical competition round the year and finally a 2 to 3 days long Annual college festival in February where so many events and activities are arranged such as DJ night, Celebrity Star night, plays, dance competition, Sports competition, fashion competition, technical competitions like robotics, coding, debate etc.

The one year fee of BTech during my college days was 1.3 Lac per year plus 80k hostel charges per year. It can be paid online or through demand drafts. The fee structure of the college is fully transparent and every student has a digital account where all the data of the student is stored from personal, academic details to each and every penny given to the college.

This is a private college and it did not provide any scholarship to the students when I had studied there.

Since there is no reservation in this university thus students from all ethnicity, race, religion, caste and gender are got equal opportunity to get into the college. As it is a technical university thus the gender ratio for boys and girls was 7:3 at my time. And as the college is private the students generally came from the middle class to higher class families.

Since I lived in Ghaziabad I do not take the hostel but the hostel seats are limited at my time. The hostel rooms are pretty comfortable and the food given was also decent. You can also opt for PGs as well ranging from 5 to 10k per month based on facilities given such as AC, Geyser, water cooler, WiFi, furniture etc

The seniors of the college are very helpful in my college days. And due to the strict discipline of college and responsibility of the seniors to guide the newcomers in various technical society, events and competitions. Apart from that, there is a reference portal of the seniors named as "Jiit Alma connect" for future reference in a job change.

I had got the admission in JIIT college based on my rank in AIEEE exam (nowadays JEE-Mains). First, a candidate needs to fill the application form common for all three universities ( Jiit- Noida, Juit-Waknaghat, Juet- Guna) and then based on the cut-off ranks for different streams in BTech in above universities, a candidate can get the admission in these group of universities. A better rank gives you more choices in institutional counseling.

The faculty of the college is highly experienced and most of them are engaged in research, many have published research papers and famous technical books as well. For example one of the faculty who teaches us is working for DRDO in a project at that time.
