Remarks
In the name of strictness sometimes college doesn't care about you. Also, students are dumb enough to think that college will make an exception for them and will go against their rule.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum includes 6-7 subjects in first year, with all the basics being taught. You have 4 evaluations each sem. Class participation, internals, live projects and final exam. It becomes hectic each sem right about the time of live projects, because you will be working in different groups for different subjects. It teaches you to handle stress and complete work on time.
Placement Experience
The placements are avg. due to market getting crashed by the time of our placements, we didn't get to see much. Previously, placements were said to be good. Internships are also avg. but plus point is college makes sure that you get a job.
College Events
Each week there is a student activity organised by student council on Friday. There is cultural fest in December. Almost every cell and club has their own activity in the year once. There are corporate events hosted by college to bring more placements to the campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is 7.30 lakh, for whole course. I personally think it is not much when you compare it to other b schools. The only thing which gets costly is the traveling and accommodation in Gurgaon. Also, when placement packages are so low, you don't have much ROI. I would advise freshers not to do PGPM right away.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is avanse, they give you loans fir IBSG on 14% interest. You can find them when you go for your GDPI in Hyderabad. There is not much to say about this. I think any bank will give you loans.
Campus Life
Campus life has nothing to offer, students go and chill in near by cafes, restaurant and mainly sector 29. Gurgaon has a good night life in the urban areas. You can find uber and autos almost anytime. There is a lot of politics whenever you are at place and there is a designation for roles and responsibilities. People are selfish keep that in mind, be on your toes.
Hostel Facilities
There are no hostel services, you have to live on rent or in PGs. There are good options for girls. For guys, it gets a lil cheaper but living conditions degraded as well. In PGs there are restrictions, but you may find good food. In flats you have no restrictions but you will have manage food.
Alumni/Alumna
Not much of a help for jobs. Alumnus are good for giving you advises and all. They can provide you help in searching for internships as well.
Admission
Filled IBSAT, gave exam in January, GDPI in Feb. The exam wasn't that hard in particular, if you are preparing for CAT, it should be a piece of cake. For GDPI, you need to have good knowledge of currant affairs. You can wound up between people who are good speakers, you need to have relevant contant for it. For PI, dress well in formals, speak well, listen to the question being asked, think and then speak.
Faculty
The faculties are avg. There are bad faculties which I have heard about, fortunately I was taught by the best faculties in the campus. I have learnt a lot about my subjects and that created interest in the course as well. The faculties are all highly qualifies even the director Dr. SC Sharma, who has worked with Dr. Manmohan Singh, ex-prime minister of India takes classes for economics.
