Remarks

There's no bad remark I know. My college is the best among other colleges I know so far.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My course is for four and half years and one year internship in hospital. Exams are University exam and question paper is from the tamilnadu MGR University. Exams are fair. Internship part made me the better person. Help me to learn out of books. Helped me to handle patients. Leaning here is nice and professional.

Placement Experience

5

Their is no placement as we are in medical profession. Internship is there which is complete one year course where we are posted in different departments and learn about patients. We are scheduled based on attendence order. They schedule as the way we complete all department knowledge. We are taught to do procedures. We were given simulations before touching patients that's wat helpful

College Events

4.5

There are technical events like surgicon axons mostly based on subjects and which is inter College meet conducted every year. And there is culturals which is intra college and we compete each other. Sports meet is also intra college. Winning batch will be announced after every meet. We do celebrate fairwell

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure there is tuition fees which is 2.5 lakhs and other fees like hostel fees, mess fees, amendment fees, transport fees, book fees etc will be collected. Totally around 3.5 lakhs per annum. No additional fees. We need to get our uniforms on our own. Fees are collected cash or through DD and bills will be given to you then and there.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't get any scholership but there is scholership available in college. First graduate scholership is available. They give you basic details of all scholership during admission. Can take education loan in banks private or government. I have no knowledge about it. ICMR scholerships also provided for research purposes

Campus Life

4.5

Campus is neat and clean. Best canteen we have. Gender diversity is almost equal. Labs are super excellent and professors were totally friendly. Experienced staffs present. Sports and culturals were there every year. Fairwell parties there. No politics I know so far. Hostels were the best time. So much fun during IPL matches. Seniors are super friendly

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes I'm hosteller. They give us individual room and bathrooms are avilable for every room but separately not attached. Hostel is neat and clean. Food also good. There are five floors and rooms have good ventilation. Landry also available in ground floor. Hostel is close to College campus. Walkable distance

Alumni/Alumna

We do have alumni meet and whatsapp groups so that we can talk professionally and causally. That's so helpful in needs. Mostly during varies new technique. We have people all over the world that help us to learn techniques followed in different countries

Admission

I got admitted through 12th mark cut off and through counseling. There are two seats government and private seats I got government seat. Now admission is by entrance exam NEET. I got admitted in August 2010. This really have a good name so chose this college without a second thought

Faculty

4.5

Each subject have two to three lectures and professors with good experience. Lectures were mostly powerpoints and clinical in hospital. They give both theatrical and clinical knowledge. Most of the professors are in their thirties and forties. They have good knowledge in subjects. They help you learn through practicals

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
