Remarks
Yes I have both good and bad remarks. In good I can say college provides many skillful teachers, regular classes, good interaction, good placement management. In bad I can say college have to take care of boys hostel and mess facility. Mess quality is very poor in hostels.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes there is course curriculum and proper exam structure. Many industries trained student before on campus which helps lot students in on campus interview. Robotics workshop, IT development companies trained student. Wipro, Vedanta, Tatacurriculum, Tcs take part in course curriculum.
Placement Experience
WIPRO, TCS, INFOSYS are the companies that visited the campus for placement drives for I. T course. Companies first check aptitude ability, Mail writing ability then followed by technical and followed by HR round interview. 80% students got placed every year from Bit sindri campus. Yes Institute provide all basic facility and also provide many internship programs. I have done with TCS internship
College Events
Many technical like robotics, software development got conducted every year. May clubs are associated for particular event. Many cultural events take place every year and participation in them were in good numbers. Environmental, Mangement festivals done in good numbers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
College fee is very much feasible, very cheap in compare with others govt state colleges. Mode of payment in BIT sindri is through challan and exam fee were collected through online process. College provide all transparency in the fee breakdown. Total fee is very cheap and no money is required in order to secure admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have opted education loan. There is scholarship program. Students comes from backward cast can only avail that scholarship program in which H. O. D of particular department pass the application form then Administration of BIT sindri pass it.
Campus Life
In terms of gender ratio.girls are less in number as comapre to boys but there is good security facility for girls. Extracurricular activities are carried out every year, labs are in good status. Many sports festivals like cricket football, athelectics got conducted every year. They were organized in a good manner. Many technical extracurricular activities carried out like robotics, software development. There is no race, politics, sexual harassment in college. College provide secure facility for girls. College made transparency in all sports, extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are not so good. Students there have to manage by sharing with 3-4 boys in 1st year and 2nd year, from 3rd year sharing comes to 2 students and in 4th year seperate rooms were alloted. The average rental is 1800 for hostels and 300 for electricity. Hostels security is also weak. No development scheme is provided for hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes alumni network and senior students are very hepful. Alumni also provide money for poor students and make many companies to visit college. Yes I have interaction with my alumni who helped me lot in preparation for campus placement. They provided me the correct guidance for interview preparation.
Admission
I have cleared jharkhand combined entrance examinations with merit list rank 803. And then got IT branch through counseling done in ranchi. And then submitted my original documents and then got allotted seat and hostel in bit sindri. I have opted it course because from childhood i was interested in computers subject and it was my dream to become software developer. Less fee structure, good teachers, good placements are the factors which made me choose to this institution
Faculty
In BIT SINDRI there are many well qualified Proffesors and strength of lectures is sufficient for particular courses. In my course there were approxx 30 teacher including assistant teachers and lab assistant. Many of them are well qualified IITIANS who have done M.tech through IIT.
