Remarks

Not really. It's a great campus in an Ashram - environment friendly and very green. Great faculty, great learning.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum involves equal stress on intellectual development as well as on field technique through workshops focusing on differet modules. We have 3 major projects where marks are granted. However, marks play a very minor role in the education. The discussions and critical feedback is what drives a constant process of learning.

Placement Experience

3

It provides you an opportunity to interact with various industry professional that you can later collaborate with.

College Events

4.5

Multiple screenings- In house and in association with Goethe Institute and Thinking Film. We are free to have an event whenever the batch decides to have one. They're open to various ways to engage into dialogue and exposure. We also are encouraged to attend screenings outside.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is incredible value for money. It includes workshops, along with equipment rentals and production cost for your projects through the course. Also includes a well equipped editing lab. Usually film schools cost nothing less that 20 Lacs a year. This is one tenth that price.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opt for any scholarships. The programme is fairly inexpensive for a film school. But I do believe that if required you can request for a discount.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is fairly balanced. Only one batch at a time. Some batches have had marginally more women, some marginally more men. We have shoots and workshops and screenings quite frequently. We are up for an event whenever the batch decides to have one.

Alumni/Alumna

Absolutely. We've got a great network of alummlnus and faculty. There's ample opportunities to connect with people and collaborate.

Admission

This is something I've wanted to do since i was in middle school. The course admission begins with submission of portfolio and an entrance exam that tests intellectual politics and creative perception and expression. If selected, you already for an interview which decides whether or not you get admission.

Faculty

5

The course is run by the course head and the course coordinatior who bring in guest pedagogy who are experts in their field. Each of them stay for a minimum week to carry out a workshop in their field of expertise. These diverse workshops are bridged through the course head.

Campus placements take place after 3rd semester. But there have been times when students have been picked up by the Industry Expert during the session itself, if they were impressed by the student's performance.

Admission:

The admission is on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the college itself. The students need to clear the entrance exam in order to secure admission to the college. I joined the institute because of its reputation, but at least this branch of the Institutes is not at par with the Delhi branch.
