Remarks

It is the best college under the University of Calcutta. And the faculty of this college is very good, especially in Geography. Every number of students gets first-class in different subjects. It is also a big campus in Salt Lake, Kolkata, in there only two courses i.e. Geography and Botany have been started. It is in a central location of Calcutta near Thanthania Kali Bari and College, students can also access metro that is only 10 minutes walking distance from the college.

Bachelor and Post Graduate degree courses available in college. Its campus should be needed cleaner. And recently it is heard that political issues have been raised by some unknown outsider. So, the campus should be free from this type of influences.

College Events

Many students participate in different events. Cultural events and programmes are held by the college. At least 10 programs are held in every year. The events are Rabindra Jayanti, Vidyasagar Jayanti.

Campus Life

There is no big playground for the students on the campus. A small tennis court is in three beside the Hostel campus. The size of central is very good and the collection of books is very good. Wi-fi facilities are excellent and the speed is high. The practical laboratory is also available.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.
