My College

I have all the beautiful memories with my college and there is nothing that I can complain about as what I am today is all because of my teachers, seniors and my college.

Our MBA program was of 2 years and in 1st year there were 2 semesters of 6 months each and in 1st year there is no specialization as the college give chance to students to understand in which stream they are interested in so that in 2nd year we are able to choose our stream. so in 1st year its only theoretical knowledge and in 2nd year in 1st semester, we are been taken for industrial visits where we can get practical knowledge as to how any industry works and in the final semester, we need to do submit the project on the selective topic before our final exams.

In our college we are told to do an internship of 3 months with any company we wish to after 1st year but before our 2nd year starts. The college also helped us in choosing the company and also teachers on their individual level helped us in getting the company through the help of their contacts. Various companies visited our campus for every specialization and some of the companies took the test before the interview and whoever got qualified had been called for the final interview. And some companies used to directly take the interview. The companies that visited our campus were axis bank, HDFC bank, Ashoka buildcon, some of the manufacturing companies and its companies etc. The percentage of getting recruited in our college was 60%.

Our college used to the organised cultural programme which was celebrated on a large scale as it included sport, dancing, skit, drawing, indoor games, singing etc and all the students used to be excited to showcase their talents in which way they can. Also, Each and every student used to take part in organizing the event.

In our college fee structure as simple as some who were able to pay both years fee at one time used to pay and some who were not able to be allowed to pay in two instalments and the mode of payment were either in cash or cheque. Also, the concession was given to those who belong to SC and ST classes.

Our college did not have any scholarship scheme but students were allowed to take an educational loan from any bank they wish to and on that basis, they were able to complete their studies. as in educational loan, the loan is been paid after you complete your studies and get earning.

Our college believed in equality and diversity as in our college we had students from each religion and it never differentiated between a girl and boy as it gave chance to each and every student to participate in the inter-college competition and also allowed to go out of the city to participate in debates, or mad ad shows where we can represent our college and the expenses were also bearded by our college.

My experience with my seniors was very good as I was glad that I got such seniors who never backed off from their responsibilities and were always there to help whenever needed. my seniors are still in my contact and even after so many years, they are there to help me in any way they can.

My college is one the renewed college and 3rd institute of MBA in my city and I eagerly wanted this college but due to little fewer marks in first 3 rounds, I didn't qualify but still, I did not lose the hope and in the final round for which I needed to go to Pune university where this final round takes place and if the seats are available than only you get it and my hard work finally paid off and I got the college which I wanted as I did not want to do my MBA by giving a donation.

In each semester we had 6 subjects and for each subject, we had different teachers and the subject for which we gave the external exam for that we had experienced teachers who were of age between 35 o 55 and for internal subjects we used to have young teachers who just got passed out from college and thought of being teachers. But our every teacher had done BED course. Our College also organised some lectures of renowned experts who had knowledge of specific stream such like marketing, finance, human resource etc so that student is more clear of the subject and can decide in which stream they see their future.
