Remarks

The college life was good. I had A very good college life like i will remember it forever and the college will also remember us forever because we has done many thigs for the college. we were lucky to have such a good and supporting faculty in our college. i dont know if i get a chance to live this life again but it was worth. The college has done good overall and I dont regret getting admission in this college at all.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

i wouldn't say that i got all the knowledge of the outside world or the industry but yes i got to learn many things about all the field and brief knowledge about them. Theory is a part of indian education which i dont like but you cant be extraordinory so u have to learn and cope up with the world to be in the race. We also went to see the movie sets and to see how the actual movies, tv show shoot we went to ND studio, Goregaon Filmcity, Ramoji Film city Hyderabad, etc. I think now My course has changed into B.A.M.M.C. now the portion is changed now. when i was in my F.Y. we had economics, history which i hate the most. But we cant argue with the subject they offer. Overall it was a good jorney

Placement Experience

2.5

We have Placement Cell in our college but in my feild we dont really go to placement interview in college. we prefer finding jobs on our own. because everyone have there own ideas for their jobs o no one really go to the college placement. yes our faculty used to send the links and contacts if anyone is intrested to do an internship. I never did any Internship.

College Events

4.5

Our College Have teo fest Verve, Vigour This are our main fest. But thet suck TBH. But thanks to our faculty we were doing seprate fest for B.M.M. So there were two main Events for us. One was a formal event named Maadhyam. And the other was nonformal Event V-Talkies. so i was leading these both fest as a student representative. in maadhyam it was knowledge sharing program for the students across mumbai. Media personalities like Faye D'souza,Nikhil Wagle,Mandar Phanse,Sushant Divgikar,Shrishti Dixit, etc. came and sahre the knowledge in there field. And V-Talkies is the National Shortfilm compitition. We get Short films throughout the India and only 13short films get selected for the screening and top3 get CAsh prize. Our guest was Mahesh Manjrekar for this year. Our Both events were hit back to back and I'm proud that i was leading both the Fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

our Fees are slightly more then the other governmaent colleges because its a private institution. in normal government college they offer same course in 20-22k but as our clasrooms are digital and we got AC in our classes our fees are 40-45k. But i think It's worth. We can deposit a cheqe/DD or cash to pay the fees. There are no hidden fees. But yes there is Exam Fees which you have to pay in first year. Nothing else.

Fees and Financial Aid

i didn't got any scolarship or any of educational lonas. and i dont know anything about this topic. But in India i dont think there is any scolarship for the admission of graduation. bacuase 70% in india do gradutaion so they cant provide scolarship to soo many people.

Campus Life

5

The gender ratio is same for male/female. Workshop were part of our life. we had so many workshop that i dont even remeber. but it use to be fun to attend workshops. there were no fights on gender, religion or anything. The crowd was very decent. there were many events used to happen like for IT, debate and other things.

Alumni/Alumna

my Seniors were so good to us. They used to chill with us in campus. they never used to bully us. i had a fun time with them. And still they are in touch with us and they share information about there jobs and the industry how things actually works after graduation so yes it is very helpful information.

Admission

i was selected by the Interview method and based on my ex college's facultys refrence. This institution is one of the best in India with the Best infrastucture in Mumbai. It's Semi private college like first 2 years of degree is private and when you complete the degree you will get the marksheet from mumbai university. I chose this course because i was intrested into photography, editing. Then i started getting intrest in digital marketing adn social media marketing. So i'm glad i choose this course because this feild is intresting to me. The admission process in like all other colleges in june after you get your H.S.C. result and the regular admission process starts.

Faculty

4.5

So our lectures were about of 4hours daily with 3hours on weekend. The average qualification u need to get into b.m.m. is 12th pass from any stream. There is no age restiction to be in this course. in my batch there is a 16year old guy. Age is just a number. Our faculty was the best. we were lucky to have a faculty like them. They were qualified industry expereinced people. and they were so good in lectures with all the knowledege they have. Lectures used to be fun with them because they used to teach without a book but covering all the portion with examples and expereince. It was the best experience through out the graduation.

The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.
