Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of 4 years, with each tear having 2 semesters. Do not take the the first year lightly as it will be the base for next 3 years. It is very interesting to learn things which we all day today use that are Medicine's. It consists of how to prepare tablet, capsule, cosmetics and many much to learn from this course.
Placement Experience
Pharma companies don't arrange placement in any of the Pharma College as they mostly take M pharmacist in the companies. Yes but many BPO companies like TCS, Cognizant and other arrange it. Yes few Pharma companies come around after 2 years or so.
College Events
The college is very good. And every fest is celebrated in the campus. During Dec- Jan there is College fest and also the Rx fest which takes place for every college in Mumbai at Bombay College of Pharmacy. Pharmacist week, AIDS day, TB days and many more informative days.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is the college with lowest fees in Mumbai- navi mumbai area. If any one from cast like SC/ST has to pay a very less amount. The maximum fees for open candidate is approximately ?1lakh. Half fees needs to be paid for OBC people. You also get benefits on EBC certificate.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes you get scholarship. There are many scholarship available on your marks scored during 12. So no need to worry about the scholarship.
Campus Life
The gender ratio changes every year. Mostly girls are in more strength than boys. The labs are also good. All the lab material are available in the college during daily practical or examination. Many interactive sessions are held during classes. No gender inequality. No caste discrimination. Everyone is treated the same.
Alumni/Alumna
All the seniors were helpful during the course. They used to help providing notes they referred every year.
Admission
For admission in B. Pharmacy, you have to give the state level entrance examination and get good marks to get into merit list. And I secured 120/200 in PCB entrance exam and in first list I got the admission. You should be good in biology chemistry and physics.
Faculty
They are good and very supportive. Many new faculties come and join the institute. They are approachable at anytime throughout the college hours and also after college timming through their personal numbers. They also provide one to one doubt solving session if needed.
