My college days !

I would recommend this college ! Though there not good as collges in chennai, however they are giving their best education in kanyakumari dist

I have taken Tamilnadu Engineering Entrance Exam and scored 241 out of 300 which includes cutoff, maths and science subject marks. During Engineering counseling I wanted to get a seat around tirunelveli district, so I have opted for this college which is located in chunkankadai, kanyakumari district.

It was good. Information Technology is my elective. We had programming fundamentals and software related subjects as part of our curriculam. First two semesters we had common subjects for all the engineering students which includes CSE, IT, EEE, ECE, MECH, CIVIL.

Our college does not provide any internship experience. None of the companies had tied up with our college for any internship. This experience was not given to the students of this college.

Few small companies came to our college and conducted off-campus not on-campus. I remember satyam had a off-campus in sun technology, I have cleared first two rounds and then failed in the final round. Approximately 100 students got placed in different companies.

Our college had few inter college symposium. Every Departments is supported to conduct minimum one event at their college level or university level. I had presented a paper in virtual reality and got first prize during our technical festival.

first year - 33, 500second year - 33, 500third year - 33, 500fourth year - 33, 500Apart from these, we also need to pay hostel fee which does not include as part of the normal fee structure.

Our college does not provide any loan facility. I took a loan from Tamilnad Mercantile Bank. I have successfully completed all the EMI without any due.

Out college had no ragging or any kind of disturbance to students. They always encourage us to participate in all the extra curricular activities which happens at out college.

We had a great food in my college hostel. It is a plus for us. We had gym and playground to play cricket and football. Our hostel is very much close to the main road which is well connected and accessible for the all stationary items.

Many of our alumni are working in top IT companies and other field as well.Every Year we have alumni meet which is being conducted on christmas week where students are allowed to share thier experiences to the junior students.

My college is part of Anna University. We had almost 55 subjects in 8 semesters and each semester we had minimum 4-5 practical subjects.

They were so kind to us. They are well educated and had sound knowledge in their respective subjects. They always encourage us to participate in all the extra curricular activities which happens at out college.
