The management is very bad the major problem here is of attendance & strictness. Students call it a jail if you have ability & dedication to work hard & to give most of the tine to college studies then only join SKIT.

I took rajasthan pre engineering test ( RPET) & scored 5500 rank. I chose electrical engineering at SKIT Jaipur as I was interested in electrical gadgets & SKIT was a reputed college with good placements.

The course curriculum is not up to the mark you have to study subjects which are of no use in place of some useful subjects which are not there like Java.

It was a good experience to work as intern in BHEL but there was no role of college in that you have to get internship on your own no companies came for internship at SKIT.

Placements are good than other engineering colleges in Jaipur but JECRC is best for placements. Placement is the only strong reason why students choose SKIT but the fact is that placements are only in IT companies like tcs, infosys. No good core companies visit here for placements. The placement process & training is good but t&p cell is not so active.

Pravah is the annual cultural & tech fest of SKIT which is organized in month of march. The fest is of 6 days & has all sort of sport & cultural activities. First 3 days are for sports activities i.e. aaveg and other 3 days for cultural activities & events like stunt - o - mania. At the end dinner is organized for all the students & faculties. Prizes are given to all winners on the ending day of Pravah.

Yes during admissions & college allotment by RTU scholarship is given as TFWS for students with low family income on merit basis for limited seats. Also there are various scholarships like minority scholarships, MHRD scholarships for students.

Campus life is not full of freedom in SKIT there are certain restrictions & rules which have to be followed strictly otherwise action is taken. Diversity is high & gender ratio is male dominated girls are very less as compared to no of boys extracurricular is good with various clubs like technocrat, robotics, e - cell, etc. Labs are not upto standard & instruments are of old design & tech.

The hostels are good in food & wifi facilities but charges are high as compared to others you have to pay Rs 80,000-85,000 per year for a single room in hostel with food. The rules for entry & exit is strictly set. Seperate hostels are there for boys & girls end time for entry in hostel is 8 pm for girls & 9 pm for boys.

The interaction with alumni & seniors is nill here no strong alumni network is present. Seniors are not so helpful as they are busy in their college life no alumni meet takes place here but alumni of SKIT are at very good positions in companies.

The faculty is good but management is irritating faculty is given more respect & power at SKIT & faculty to student ratio is good but faculty is not helpful in research & other innovative projects.
