Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is super old. I wish they adapted with coming years and introduce better methods of learning. I don't think it's relevant to the industry standards. But it is research-driven. And I don't feel the valuation is really fair. Yes, there were many industrial visits.
Placement Experience
I'm not really sure about the placements in the college and I feel it's non existent actually. Certain branches have really good placements and tie ups with the companies. But in our department, it's almost not existent. Some of the companies that visited us are Aspartika, Cerner, Himalaya. Yes, the college has placement training cells and placement training sessions.
College Events
Every year a different branch of the college organizes a technical fest or a branch fest. And every year there 2 cultural fests called Verve and Kalanjali. The participation used to be huge but in recent years it has fallen. A Kannada cultural fest is also held during the odd semester.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees accepted by the college on basis of merit in total is 70,000 and through management, it varies from 2 lakhs to 4 lakhs depending on the branch that's chosen. DD, NEFT transfer and cash are the modes of payment. And not additional charges. Not much transparency is provided with the fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, the college doesn't provide any scholarship or education loans. And I didn't apply for any since it's not available.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is more males and less of females almost 2:1 ratio I believe. Student parties or the fresher parties are conducted unofficially and officially as well. There is definitely less of student diversity since most of them in the college are somehow related to each other.
Alumni/Alumna
Some of the seniors can be jerks while someone of them is really friendly and are really chill. They can help you in calming situations, planning certain things.
Admission
The Branch of the course I'm in has scope in the future and could be an essential part co-existing with IT. I opted for Biotech without properly thinking and now I'm in it. First KCET counselling and the opted Sir MVIT and got my admission on August 15th.
Faculty
There are around 13 lecturers in the department, and they are all over 30 years. And common qualification is M.Tech and the highest being P.hD. Certain teachers have really great industry experience and certifications and are really outstanding with their connections.
