The placement record of Chitkara University is pretty decent. The environment is good and the faculty is also good (Mainly PhD) The campus is compact but with all facilities fullfilling needs of the student.

The courses offered in the first 2 years are core computer science subjects but after that you will be able to select your specialization and the further subjects will be based on that. The university has industry oriented labs and the best part about the university is the COOP culture which is being followed. Students get internship cum placement offers from 3rd year itself.

The placement opportunities are really very good of the University. Many tech giants like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, D.E SHAW and many more come to Chitkara University for campus placement. Many of our alumni are working in many of these tech giants. The University also encourages the students towards Entrepreneurship and also provide mentorship, incubator and funding if the university finds a good scope in the startup idea of the student.

The annual cultural festival of the University is ALGORYTHM where more than 100 universities and colleges participate over many contests like Dance, Singing, Modelling, Folk Dance, Gaming, Street play. The evening of the fest is a star night where many punjabi and hindi singers have performed like Sharry Maan, Neha Kakkar, Garry Sandhu, Mankirt Aulakh, Badshah and many more in past 4 years. The annual Sports fest of the University is ATHLOS where many teams from 50+ universities participate in various sports like Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Chess, Squash, Atheletics and many more.

The infrastructure of the University is pretty decent. The campus is based on footsteps of Kasauli hill station. The campus has facilities for almost all types of indoor and outdoor sports. The Gymnasium of the college is also pretty good and it has a fees of ?4500 for 6 months. The library is pretty decent and the labs are well managed. The campus is covered with high speed wifi connectivity. The campus canteen is very good and higenic with very nominal prices. The campus also has a Coffee shop where you can just relax and hangout with your friends over a cup of hot cappuccino or cold coffee. The campus also has outlets like La Pinoz pizza, My Banana leaf for south indian food lovers, Chai Nagri for all the tea lovers and Havemor for icecream and shakes. The campus also has a Matrix saloon with very nominal prices.

For Boys The Hostel rooms are based on 3 sharing and 2 sharing rooms. The rooms are equipped with 2 fans and a desert cooler. Every room has a small balcony and the washrooms are on common basis but for girls the rooms are double sharing and are equipped with AC and fan. Each hosteller is provided with an almirah with lock, A study table with a rack and a drawer and a chair. The washrooms and rooms are cleaned on a regular basis and the hostellers are provided with Mess and Laundry facility which is included in the total hostal fees. The hostel is also equipped with a high speed Wifi.
