Remarks

Our university is something on which every student and alumini prouds off.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course is 4year degree program, which is divided into 8 semesters. Each semesters exam are taken separately. Papers are formed by pur proffessors only and they check our copy too. Being a government university, not so much attention is given to the professionalism. But, university's name is enough to get placed in companies.

Placement Experience

3.5

In our university, several institutes, departments are there and each institute has its own placement committee. Talking about my Institute of agriculture science, seed companies, fertilizer companies and cooperatives come for hiring students. Even, our aluminis have been hired by well renowned companies like Pradhan, cooperative like IIFCO etc. Institution make separate placement committee for students, invites companies, makes arrangements for them etc but students have to prepare on their own for placement. Internship have to be arranged by students himself.

College Events

3.5

Every festival is celebrated in out campus. Every saturday night, celebrities are invited in IIT, BHU. Our university everyyear organises inter faculty cultural competition in the name of 'Spandan' I too had participated and won the prize. Convocation program is organized grandly. Many more events are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As this is govt university, fee is affordable. Mode of payment is cash. In first semester including admission fee, approx rs 2000 and for second semester of the year rs160 is charged. Ues, there is transparency. In case, you did not score marks above cutoff and want admission, paid seats are there but only few, which is given to the students who score few marks lesser than the cutoff, its fee will be rs25000 - 30000 extra along with the regular fee mentioned above.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship because I don't fit in the criteria. Scholarship provided from govt need the beneficiary to be from low income group or farmers family. Rs36000/year is provided.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio, as in India, is also low in university. But as new students are being admitted every year, it is increasing. In my class, it is 5:1. Race, caste etc are not barrier. Reservation is provided to the backward classes. Workshops are held in the campus for studdnts. Economy is not troublesome. Students come from every corner of the country. Even, foreign students with nri seat get admitted in the university. No such discrimination occurs in the name of religion, caste etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, I have opted for hostel and nominal fee is charged. Each room is 2 seater. Rs4310 is charged annually as rent. Food is provided by mess, whose charge is rs100/day. In case of the day, you go to home and don't eat mess food, charge is not taken. But if you don't get hostel seat, you have to live in PGs at Lanka, whose rents are rs 5000 average per month perhaps.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpul and allumini guides the students. Aluminis keep regular contact with the university. My senior helps me so much. After teacher, they are the mentor. Regular interactions are made with seniors but ragging is strictly prohibited.

Admission

First, I had to fill the UET (undergraduate entrance test) form which normally becomes available in the month of February. Then, UET is conducted in the month of may (tentative). In order to get admission in university, one has to get marks above the cut off, so, did I. Afyer that, counselling round is conducted in which selected students are called for document verification and other formality.

Faculty

5

Professors are really very talented and deserved to be part of faculty. They hold grip on knowledge and we, the students are lucky to be taught by them. In my course, 7 days in a week, lectures are held with the timing being 8am to 5pm. Students find it very hactic. Industry experience is something different but our professors are highly qualified.

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
