Remarks

The Teachers were great. The alumuni network was great. The competition was amazing. The learning was great. It shaped our mind for business.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

There were 6 subject in each semester. First year was general mangement and second year was based on your electives. My elective was finance. There were overall 6 semester. First Se-mister had subjects like Business Communication. Quantitative techniques and Managerial Skills and Macro Economics. In second year as we entered in understanding our electives we were focused elective special derivatives, FRM and many others. We had many projects in each subject to be done with teams or individuals.

Placement Experience

3

Yes the internship were great at that time we had 2 months summer internship and 1 month NGO Internship. In 1st month of NGO we saw the dark side of the society and in next 2 months we experienced how business runs with different strategy. I was assigned at MESCO Trust at Mahim during 1 month NGO and 2 months at HDFC AMC for my 2 months summer internship. The placement started in second year after 4 th semester. I was placed with Consulting firm. The placement was divided into 2, Lateral and freshers. Accordingly companies came for placement.

College Events

4

There were many technical and cultural events. Since it was cultural event we were supported by E-Cell. E-Cell stands for Entrepreneurial Cell where we would do business during Diwali stall. We had Stimulation centre where budding entrepreneurs tested the prototype for the company. This event was known Diwali Bazar. Similarly we had cultrual festival called as a Frizon. This event had dance party everything.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I studied the fees were 6. 75 lakhs for both the years(2010 to 2012). These fees were affordable at that time as I had taken loan and repaid it after getting job. The college provided fees breakdown too. Yes when we were selected at the time of Personal interview we had to give a DD of Rs 25000 as a token amount of reserving the seat. The payment mode was always Demand Draft.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there was this criteria for it. The student who scored 1st rank in all division or who had the highest CGPA in first year use to get scholarship. Similarly student who joined top most CGPA/Percentage with Entrance score was evaluated and given a scholarship. The student who scored the highest in second year was then rewarded with cash price.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life was good, we had amazing garden, library, we had mini amphi theatre where we enjoyed life. We had the priced moments to spent time discuss about networking opportunities. The male to female ratio was about 1:1. 25. There were about 80% of Student from North of India on campus. We had rotaract clubs working on campus. We had debates elocution and sports competition too.

Hostel Facilities

3

No I didnt opt for Hostel, but most of my friends who had come to study opted for this hostel. The hostel were good and decent but food in hostel was not good. The hostel students complained to the Dean and it got changed. The hostel feels for 1 year was about 1. 5 lakhs. The PG fees were about 4000 Rs per month.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumuni network is strong. We are connected through portal. Many of the alumuni would come to campus for meeting guest lecture and trainings. The best of the campus was working with them for small internship. Many recruitment also took place because of ALumuni network.

Admission

I scored credible score in MAT Entrance exam in 2010. Then I applied from AIMA Colleges List. I applied to many colleges, One of them was Institute for Technology and Management, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Once application was done, I received a call from the college for Interview. There was an interview process. In the interview asked about why MBA after Engineering, I mentioned I want to know business sense of it, I love problem solving. I was selected in the process. We had to get a DD of Rs 25000/- on the day of Interview. Hence on selection I joined the colllege, which started after 1 months time.

Faculty

3.5

For Each subject there were about certain number of hours. so the faculty had to complete the course in that time duration. If time duration is less we had extra lectures. In second year we had electives and we had guest faculties for same. These guest faculties would then help us to understand the subject with more of live case studies. These case studies were also from lot reference book or current scenario.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.
