Remarks

The management encourages brilliant students and provides scholarships for them. It also encourages students to participate workshops held at outside the college and try to give exposure on the latest updates on the technology.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

In first half of the course, the students go through the basic engineering concept, physics, mathematics and chemistry. In the second half of the course, the students go through the core study of communication such as design, digital electronics, fundamental of Electronics engineering, signal & circuit, electronic circuits, VLSI, power electronics, computer architecture, and control systems.

Placement Experience

4.5

GEC has some really good recruiting companies coming in. Their website mentions big names like TCS, WIPRO, Infosys. Also their microsite in Collegedunia and all mentions an average placement package of 4 Lakhs/year. which means that the highest package would be more than 8 Lakh. This is nice. Research a little more on it. Coming to internships, Yes I worked as intern and yes my college will provide intership to students.

College Events

5

GEC fest. History is not just about events and dates; it is more about people and their achievements. GECFEST, the annual Founder’s Week celebrations, in the fond memory of Sri Vallurupalli Venkata Rama Seshadri Rao, was a milestone in the determined march of the institution towards academic excellence. The spirit and motto of this 3-day event is to provide a platform for budding engineers to showcase their academic and artistic flair.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. The Government pays for all the minor category students and for management students it used to be bit expensive. The fee used to be 7000 and building fund 3000. For the management students, it used to be 47000 Rs. We used to pay all the exam fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Education loans help students pay not only academic fees but also non-academic expenses during their studies. The provision of student loan, like any other loan, comes on the payment terms of an interest amount over the originally borrowed money. Commonly known as Study Loan EMIs, the monthly installments paid against the student loan allow applicants to repay the loan amount borrowed step-by-step.

Campus Life

5

In the last few decades, there’s been a dramatic shift in the makeup of campus populations in terms of race, gender, gender identification, religion and other factors. Diversity on college campuses enriches the experience in various ways. For many students, the non-homogenous composition of the university population becomes their introduction to the world as it is a departure from their sheltered backgrounds. For others who are already familiar with diverse communities, the multi-ethnic multicultural campus environment is an affirmation of their experience. Navigating the cross-cultural fabric of campus life is part of the overall learning experience for everyone.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors used to be a source of help for all the studies and any extracurricular activities held at college and most of the seniors are so great to extend their help.

Admission

I got the admission through EMCET rank. I applied through online registration and I selected GEC College as my first preference. when I got the admission then I went to college and fill the primary procedures and submitted my documents like alotment sheet and mark list along with photos.

Faculty

5

Teacher quality includes ability to deliver sound content with ease of understanding by students. In addition to using students to measure teacher performance, a senior and experienced person in the area being evaluated can be used and usually external evaluator or blind evaluation is best. Using the peers who are in same college or faculty could be sentimental.

Reviewed on Nov 2, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
