The college management was good although there was a huge scope for students participation in important decisions.
Course Curriculum Overview
The structure was good. The academics are a mix of practical and theory. Grooming on both professional and individual level was done.I always feel that the system should focus more on practical and accordingly should be the tests and exams, which show how prepared or smart a student is while facing the practical problems rather than theoretical answers on a copy.
Placement Experience
Placement was pretty average at that time though it has improved a lot in the recent years with many big companies coming to the campus.
College Events
College events were an important part in the development of an individual. Wode range of events from sports fest to cultural events like Spic Macay etc used to take place. An yearly fest of 3 days with a wide range of activities was a feast for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a private college the fee was a little on the higher side. Ot was difficult for many to take up this course since not everyone can afford it, although there were provisions for scholarships etc but only a few could avail. The fee could have been a little more reasonable.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. There were a few cases for scholarships.However I didn't take any loan or external aid of any type.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was good. Varied across branches. We had a cultural society, sports unit and various other groups. Where everyone competed in true spirit irrespective of gender, religion, caste, and college course. There were number of events under and intra college which used to take place.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. Hostel facility was really good. Woth options of 2,3 and single seaters. Infrastructure was perfect including food, LAN, sports facilities etc. Multiple buildings were there with fully functional Basketball, volleyball and badminton courts l. Included a gym as well. Late night canteen was also there.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not that good. Till now also there hasn't been any alumni group formed properly or communication from the college side.
Admission
I always had a fascination towards computers. The field which keeps on evolving and would never stop. We will never be satisfied with the fast speed, we would always want more.faster chips, internet and smaller devices day by day.IT and CS were at their boom, and I wanted to go into an engineering institute to learn more about computers. I gave the UPTU entrance exam and through it reached to this premiere college.
Faculty
The faculty had a good knowledge base and gave us good understanding of the concepts required. Although I feel in the education system industry relevant and practical approach should be the focus. The faculty should be a good mix from academic experience and practical experience and not just the teachers.
