A wonderful journey

I appeared in KMAT and scored 85% scored was not that good but fortunately I got admission in TOCE.

My college is affiliated through VTU so course curriculum changes after every two years it is one of the latest curriculum which can be taught in any management college.

I am currently doing my project in Myntra on market research at the same time I am a part of MCCP batch and I'm being paid a stipend of rs 12000. MCCP stands for myntra customer championship program. The working hours are from 4 to 9 pm. We were given a training of 15 days and after that 5 days on job training. We deal with the customer's queries and come up with a possible solution to it. We were a part of season sale that starts on 2 and 3 Jan. During these day the sale is at its peak so we had to take call of customers at regular intervals. We were in inbound department. We had 4 captain's under whom we were mentored. They used to help us giving a possible solutions to the customers. The overall journey of myntra so far is quite amazing and I would love to be a part of myntra if given a chance. Companies are yet to come since we are about to enter in 4th sem. Right now we are doing projects in various organizations in 3rd sem lot of companies came for the placement for internship. Myntra was one of them. Companies like Aaron education,Exl,decathlon,amazone.in,Hdfc bank have come to our campus for taking students for internship.

Department of MBA TOCE has organised various activities inside the campus which includes guest lectures,seminars,industrial visits,entrepreneurship programms, biodiversity project and seminars. In bio diversity program my topic was ecotourism which was held in November 13 and 14. The same project is yet to be organised in the month of February on a very large scale in which various stakeholders and deligates of 50 different countries are expected to come.

Fees is 75000 per year and very affordable. As compared to other colleges where college fees are very expensive,TOCE offers a very feasible fees structure which can be affordable by anyone. Investing 1.5 lack on education and the kind of exposure we have got is quite amazing. So I would recommend others to join TOCE since return on investment is very easy and in very short period of time.

Till now I have not availed any loan facilities from my college but I know few people who have applied from scholarship and loans which are offered by the college.

The campus life is very exciting because we have healthy studies environment.everyone is competitive. The gender ratio is almost similar. Various parties are organised by the college to give us a break from studies. Everyone is quite friendly at the same the college administration is very strict in terms of discipline.

I stay in Malabar pg,HSR LAYOUT. I lives in double sharing and rent is 8000. All basic facilities are available such as internet,tv,washing machines etc. Foods are available 3 times a day.

Seniors helped us a lot in terms of every aspects. We have learnt a lot from all of them. They were the source of inspiration for us. They guided us regarding the studies and exams Later they helped us in our projects too.

The exams structure is very hectic since every month internal tests are being conducted. Apart from that presentations have to be given by students on weekly basis. Some times surprised test are conducted.final exams are conducted by VTU at the end of the semester.

The faculities are Highly qualified and experienced. They are very helpful and friendly in terms of studies. We get a lot of exposure from them. They mentor us in terms of organising many events. These events include seminars,projects,presentations etc. TOCE maintains a quality standards in teaching and all those credits go to these faculties. As far as I'm concerned I'm Very much satisfied with the way I'm being treated by college management. Our director of MBA Dr. Sarit Kumar Walia is a very charming personality. He is a graduate from IIM CALCUTTA and PhD from XLRI, Jamshedpur and the kind of energy he pumps up in our blood is amazing. I'm very thankful to all my faculties who gave me opportunity to shape up my career in a right direction.
