Yes the content and sylabus is pre defined by VTU Belgaum. It is standard across all the engineering colleges of Karnataka. The curriculum is not exactly useful when it comes to work in industry. There is lot of information out of which only ten percent is useful

There is campus placement every year in the last year of the engineering. There are many companies that come for selection. And each student is given for chance to try their luck. Where in if any student gets selected for any of two companies then they are not allowed to attend further interview which gives large scope to the other students who could not get placed

Freshers party, annual day, tech fest, exhibition. Lot of event are held by college inter college competition, some state level competition as well. It gives good exposure to all students at all levels, in every field. Not only technical development, but physical development by keeping sports competitions.

It is feasible for free seat if you go through common entrance test but thought I management quota it might be bit difficult for each one of us to pay. However the few can be negotiated and get some reduction. Fair chances are you will get a good deal

It has all t the facilities like labs, auditorium, huge ground for sports, parking, hostel facility, library Xerox and printers, and around the college there are few other colleges like polytech, MBA and commere college so. No. I did not opt for hostel facilities. But they do have the hostel facility which is separate for bus and guys. Food is average. The rules are strict mostly the rules are same as other hostels nothing very different

The alumni is quite experienced d and the college is quite old. This helps the students as everything is settled and in work since long time. Recently few years back the alumni completed 25 years which is a remarkable journey of the institution.

Common entrance test is one of the possibble ways to get admissions however if there is not good ranking you can also go thorough management quota where in you need to pay huge fees which is comparatively more when compared to the free seat which is got through CET

Faculty of college is good. However there are mix of senior experienced teachers and Freshers junior teachers. The senior experienced teachers have good knowledge of the content or sylabus. But the Freshers teachers lack that. They just have the basic knowledge of the subject
