BMSCE is India's first engineering college established in 1946. One of the best college in the Nation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is quite relevant with the exam structure, we had 4 industrial visits which played an important role in placements. We visited Volvo, Coka Cola, Rail wheel factory. The visits surely boosted our experience and gave us enormous confidence to work in an industry based experience.
Placement Experience
The placement of BMSCE is great. Most of the well known MNCs like Volvo, Coka Cola, Mercedes, TATA etc visit the campus for placements. We had a compulsory placement training to shape up our interview skills. Almost 80% of the students gets placed in campus.
College Events
UTSAV is the annual fest held by college and is much popular among the students. Many local and national people also visit the campus to enjoy the annual fest. Various cultural activities and fashion shows take place during this time. The College also holds Technical and Entrepreneurial seminars now and then.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's Expensive for non-comedk or out-of-state students. The fees for merit students is comparatively low. The campus accepts Demand Draft for the payment of the fees. Other than the tution fees, the college charges miscellaneous fees annually. It does provide transparency in the fees-structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
NO I didn't apply for any Scholarship as I was not eligible for it. The criteria was above 95% for my course.
Campus Life
Campus life was really awesome. There wasn't any gender based discrimination, the gender ratio was quite similar. There were various student's committe like the mountaineering club, fashion club, entrepreneurs club, technical committee etc. Students from around the globe visit campus every year. The campus is open for every student regardless of his/her race, status, ethnicity, politics, economic status etc.
Alumni/Alumna
The campus environment is awesome with seniors helping alot to their juniors. The campus culture is well organised for everyone.
Admission
I got admission through COMEDK. The admission is based on the merit list. There are 3 merit lists in total which is out one by one. I opted for this course as I always wanted to work in a large scale industry. I choose this institute because it's on of the best in the country.
Faculty
The lecturers are highly trained and are able to teach the particular subject with expertise. Most of them are senior citizens with over 15 years of teaching experience. All the faculties are specialised in particular courses which they teach. They all are student friendly.
