College review

Yes. I have problem with my college management. I would definitely like to make some changes in it.

Course curriculum is good. Exam structure is also good. Exams are being conducted so strictly. yes many industrial visits are being made from different branches to avail students to know about their branch better. in 2018 we had been to IIT Bombay for industrial visit. there we visited nano science centre.

Placement department is really helpful. They conduct soft skills training classes that are really helpful in placements. They also conduct one class every week to improve is in placements. Many companies visit our college for placements. Like Infosys, Amezon etc. Actually till last to last year placements were not really good but the last many students got placed.

Many events are being celebrated in my college. Sports day, college day, graduation day, pratibha ( cultural fest held in college), Abhiyana ( cultural fest held in college for first year engineering students), Envision ( a national level techno cultural fest held in college).

It's obvious. No student will be happy to pay so much. I too feel it. Additional fees will be like if we want some semester certificate they charge us, or if we want Bonafide certificate they charge us, well I really don't like it but no other option.

Yes I have applied for education loan, after following and fulfilling all the needs of bank. I had to give my mark card they even saw if I have any back logs. I get scholarship called vidhyasiri. Which becomes very much helpful for me. I apply for this scholarship every year.

College campus is not so big. but yes I still like it as I'm there from past 3 years. Talking about gender ratio, I really haven't gone and checked for it but boys are more compared to girls. Many workshops will be held in my college, from different branches. In last semester itself I have attended a workshop on machine learning and robotics in my college, certified by IIT Kanpur. There will be soft skills training will be there for all semester student, for 4 days in a semester which will be helpful in placements. My college is very supportive for sports it can allot you every facility you are interested in any sports. Cultural activities are also being held in my college like pratibha, Abhiyana and also a national level techno cultural fest called envision where students come from different colleges and showcase their talents.

I have not opted for hostel. But I stay in pg. I pay 2400 every month which includes rent and current bill. There are other pgs too which offer you food plus rent in some 5000 - 6000. The Average if we say then it's around 7k.

Talking about seniors. I must say they are helpful. our seniors study abroad for higher education, but still they come and explain how large our field is, how to get admission in abroad for further studies etc.

Well after giving CET. I got a brochure, I wanted to go for engineering but a different branch. So through brochure I got to know about nano technology engineering, Srinivas institute of technology valachil, Mangalore. Then I searched a bit about the course. So then I opted for this course as I found it emerging.

There are five lecturers. All are helpful. Some have done their education in Materials science. some have their education in biotechnology. there ages I feel around 30 to 40. Some lecturers are doing PhD along with teaching us. some are doing masters too.
