Remarks

It's a good college for allround development and I would suggest it for any new joiners

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Exam structure is fairly similar to the other engineering colleges evaluation systems. There was an objective test for 20% of the marks and a descriptive test for 80% of th marks for each subject. It was relevant to the technology used at that point and helped me with my career choices.

Placement Experience

4

Placement system is quite transparent and allows students to explore multiple options. Percentage cut offs decide your initial eligibility and then how engaging you are plays a role.

College Events

3.5

Tech fests are a regular thing annually and is a paid entry event. The students participation is not mandatory but is there encouraged. Students from colleges around also join to participate and is an enjoyable affair. The other annual event is a cultural fest. Celebrities, music, dance and other cultural activities are a part of this event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is the government structure and is quite reasonable for the course. Additionally, exam fees, transportation, food any participation in extra curricular activities are chargeable and are a choice-based. Library is stocked well enough to rely on once in a while.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got an education loan from a bank. It was an easy please process and took very little time to get approvals.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio was 1:10 female to male as I was into mechanical engineering. For the other more gender neutral courses ratio was better. Religious tolerance is as good as it gets. No other notable police ics or biases experienced. Tech seminars were conducted once a year and participation was quite good.

Hostel Facilities

3

Didnot opt for a hostel stay as my residence was near enough to travel daily. There are near by stay options like rooms, PGs and other share options. All of these are decent enough options to consider.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors were helpful while in the college, but lost any sort of contact after graduation. Alumni network is almost close to non-existent

Admission

The college was well known and course was one of my interests. With my entrance exam score, it was one of my options and after a few enquiries through my network I heard positive inputs and thus opted for this college. I also went for a college visit befor confirming my candidature with the college and found it suitable for my interests.

Faculty

3.5

Each branch / specialization had around 7 lecturers per batch, they are a combination of junior and senior lecturers who would help us with lab work as well as course work. The senior lecturers were reasonably well versed with the industry standards and expectations.
