Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculm is very relevant and up to date,it consists of industry oriented lessons.The course encourages research and teaches you to explore.The course gives insights into current production facilities and advancements in the field of manufacturing
Placement Experience
In terms of placement the college lags behind,the only placement offered is for students with IT or Computer Science backgrounds but they allow students from other streams also to appear for intrerview.Since i did my post graduation from here there was no special attention for placements or orientation classes for us
College Events
The college holds a tech fest every four years and it is done with much celebration.The holds international level conference annualy which attracts many dignatiries,i personally had the privelege to hold ann international concave on climate change which included international dignatiries from the Netherlands and South Korea
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a government college,the fees are very affordable for everyone.The college only accpets cash as well as online mode of payment for fees.The additional fees only include a refundable security deposit and non refundable deposit to the parent teacher associtaion fund which you can forego if you are unable to pay
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarship which are made available by the government for students who excel in their studies and those who belong to economically weaker section of the society.The average sum stands aroung Rs 10000 per student for a semester
Campus Life
The campus is very peacful and has acres of space for students to roam around and enjoy.Though the gender ratio is a bit biased to male but it differs in different branches.Students from all walks of life without any bias of religion,race or gender have a great time togother.
Hostel Facilities
I was a day scholar,but my fellow classmates who where hosteliers always had wonderful things to say about the hostel.The hostel is available to all and seperate hostel is available for Post graduate students
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors which i had was very helpful and always helped us in our studies.The college also has a very strond alumni organisation which is always there to help out the students
Admission
I had qualified GATE for the year 2017 with a fairly good score,i took the course at the college as the curiculm was relevant and seemed intresting to me.I choose the institution as it was close to my home and it was my dream to be a day scholar and attend college which was not possible during my bachelors which i finished by being a hostelier
Faculty
Very supportive and always helping out,encourages us to be self confident and gives confidence to be research oriented and find new and intresting areas of study.ALmost 90% the teaching staff have a doctorate from an emminent instutuion.The staff treats the students with the maturity they deserve and gives respect.They are very friendly and supportive in all matters whether it is academic or non academic
