Remarks

Excellent environment for studies and extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The environment of college was equally good for education & for students politics. Since this college had a rich historical background hence along with students politics the state politics too had equal participation. Professors were very humble and we're very supportive to studious lot.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college was offering the regular & basic degree courses and hardly any modern professional courses.

College Events

4.5

Republic day celebration, Independence day celebration, 2nd October Mahatma Gandhi birthday, Teachers day celebration, sports day celebration, Annual day celebration are the main events which were taken with utmost enthusiasm and importance. Science exhibition/ competition, inter college NCC & Scouts competition, debate competition too were conducted and we're participated with huge excitement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it was a govt college hence fees were very very affordable. Moreover at that time there were very few private colleges and they too even were not charging much fees. Fees were always collected in cash on the fees day. There were no other extra charges to be paid to secure admission. Yes some times appeal to donate for any social cause/ national issues but it was never mandatory for any body.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship nor any education loan availed by me. Although college had scholarship opportunities for under privileged and brilliant students.

Campus Life

5

Yes our college was a big college and with co education. Gender ratio was almost 60 - 40. Various educational workshops & competition were conducted at regular time & schedule. Cultural activities & functions too were organised and participated by students of all caste, creed colour , gender and religion.

Hostel Facilities

4

No. I was local resident hence for me there was no need to stay in the hostel. I never visited any hostel room but heard that rooms were spacious, neat and clean with a good kitchen facility for folding and with appropriate greenery around the hostel building.

Alumni/Alumna

No, after leaving college I moved to southern part of the country hence couldn't keep in touch with our seniors and others.

Admission

At that time getting admission was not tough job. Procedure was simple .Get admission form, select course you want, fill the form with all details, attach required documents/ marksheet & submit it at college office along with the prescribed fees. I chose this college because it was very renowned college of western UP & it was near to my residence too.

Faculty

4.5

As I had already said the professors at college were very brilliant and very supportive in imparting their wisdom with the students. Lecturers were very serious about timely completion of course material & they never neglected the lectures. They were extra cautious with the studious lot.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
