There was no such gender ratio , Utkal University was a well known university in india and people who ae studied here are good comes from good families with ko such things which are mentioned here and the other things like parties and other things are very common.

You have to give the entrance exam and based on the exam you will get admission in the basis of merit from top to bottom , top student have the first opportunity to take whatever subjects and serially other students will get there subjects and go on
Faculty
You an talk to them face to face as they are friendly . They are very aggressive in classes and take of each and every student of them . They even take extra classes for those who didn't understand any topic or missed and classes due to any kind of emergency.
