Remarks

College management was what i had expected any college to have, no complaints, easy process, staff to help with any queries, very good placement structure, I had nothing to complain, i owe my college big time to whatever i have achieved now.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The first two semesters are common throughout all the courses, the main subjects start in the 3rd sem. We have 3 internals, out of which best of two are averaged and added to the finals. The subjects were very relevant, especially the practicals, where we used real equipments and recorded patient history, which gives us an insight on how the actual hospital works and uses the machines.

Placement Experience

5

BMSCE has 100% placement, the best part was giving the students training on how to attend interviews, which was of tremendous help. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, CTS etc are the regulars every year, that hire a lot of students, mostly prefer an avg 60% and above with no backlogs. The salary structure offered is pretty good for freshers. The placement office was very helpful in guiding the students and arranging the companies for a smooth process.

College Events

5

BMS has the most famous fest every year, called the UTSAV, to which students from all over would come, even from different cities, we were encouraged to participate in the fest, the highlight was the fashion show and the mad-ads. Thousands of stuff gather to witness this prestigious event, we also invite big movie stars and influencers as judges. And the UTSAV definitely makes it to the news every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fee is based on the merit, since I got in through general merit, it was about 38000 per year, they accept cash/cheques. The fee structure is pretty simple and transparent, the office answers any queries and guides towards a tension free process.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan. But did enquire about loans, had initially opted for HDFC as the rate if intrest seemed better.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was unforgettable, with lecturers always being supportive, either with respect to projects or extra curricular activities, we have a large ground, so games were regular. The gender rarios were maintained to almost 3:1( b:g) especially in my branch, but ofcourse it depends on the course, for instance, mechanical ans civil branches would have a higher ratio of boys.College was extremely diverse, absolutely no caste, race, sexual discrimination whatsoever.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I haven't opted for hostels, since I am a localite. But have a few friends who have, there are two hotels, one for the boys and the other for girls, and thers also another international hostel, where both of them can stay with additional benefits. Since the college is situated at bull temple road, which is very much into the city, there are tons of PG's all around with a wide range of rentals as per the requirement.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors were always around to help, be it for the subject or projects. Alumni is maintained and organised beautifully frequently, and we get in touch with our seniors who provide regular insights about our future, and help us in taking critical decisions.

Admission

Opted for this course, cause I was interested in medicine and also the engineering behind how the human body works, also understand various machines and equipments used in the hospital industry. Always wanted to get into BMS, since its one of the top most colleges, with 100% placement. Got into this college post CET and the counceling process.

Faculty

4

The faculty was very supportive and was easily approachable at any time for any kind of clarifications and helped even after we graduated. Especially the head of the department was regularly checking on the students, obtaining regular feedbacks on the lectures and issues if any. Most of the lecturers were also working on getting their PHD.
