Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is purely based on the advice of the anna university and the college will not take over the curriculum as it is affiliated to the anna university.All the criteria like syllabus, class timings(total periods) and the semester exam are conducted by the university while the internal exams are only conducted by the college.
Placement Experience
The placement is good in this college and the internship are also appreciated by the college. The college will support the students for the internship/inplant training. I have also went for 4 IPT in 3 years.
College Events
The college conducts the intra college culturals, inter college culturals and celebrations for various festivals and all are appreciated to participate if they will to join.The clubs present in this college (like rotract club) conducts functions for different reasons to appreciate all the students and who likes to help the needy.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college accepts either the net transfer or payment through DD only.No other mode of payment are not accepted in this college.As the college runs by Jain Trust, they wont charge more than the specified amount and the moto of the college is "No capitation-No donation".
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship or the educational loan are available for those are indeed. The income certificate of parent and the community certificate is must for getting the scholarships. For educational loan, the bank authorization is must.
Campus Life
All the genders are given equal importance in the college. The department of mechanical engineering mostly consists of boys and so the girls are preferred to join many extracurricular activities or sports if they wish. All the students are requested by the staffs to participate in the symposium conducuted by the Mechanical department
Hostel Facilities
No.I have not opted for the hostel as I feel the hostel fee is much higher.I am living in a room for rental. Many facilities are available in the college like gyms, canteen,a good medical centre etc. All the hostelers and day schollars can access them and so the Hostel fee is high
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college will sometimes come to the college back to share their experience and motivate the students and give some ideas for better placements in top reputed companies
Admission
I got the admission through the anna university councelling that is held in the CEG campus chennai. Really the process is easy to join the college.The students approaching here can either join in management quota or by the councelling as I did. for councelling a specific cut off should be gathered in the HSC
Faculty
The lectures available in this college is awesome and the way of teaching is also good.The staffs present here are with good knowledge and really teaches well.The staffs are also highly qualified and all the students are appreciated to ask their doubts on the subjects too.
