College Review

Yes i would like to recommend my college to my friends and relatives, even now my cousin is also doing his graduation in BCOM on my recommendation.

about the course i was doing my graduation in Bachelors of computer applications it was 3 year course having 6 semesters every subject has its own meaning and was equally important for study and about the exam structure we were having internal assessments and practicals and the final theoretical exam

There were numerous companies who visited our college campus for the placement drive some of the name were:-Wipro,TCS,Infosys,HCL. Steps as per the Companies HR policy:- HR Round To check the confidence level and intraction skills Written Test/Aptitude Operations Round Final Round With HR to discuss about salary and joining part Percentage to appear for the recruitment drive was 70% and no backlogs Yes institution had prepared us how to crack the interview by conducting some special sessions.

There were many events which college had organized at the campus which include both technical events to check the IQ Level, and to see the caliber of each candidate who participated in. Cultural and social events were organised at time of any occasions like Lohri,Holi,Diwali,Republic day and Independence Day all these events were for the whole day and many of the students used to take part and show their best.

Fees per semester was 25000Rs and total fees for the course was 150000 for 3 years apart from that i had paid to avail college transportation which was 20000 yearly basis. Payment can be done by bank transfer, Demand Draft,Card Swap and other online medias available. yes their was trasnparency in the fees and they do provide ample of time to deposit the fees and there was no such issue to pay to secure admission.

At that time their was no feature available to avail scholarship or education loan. and today college is taking some initiatives to get the best students intake by providing them scholarship and loan facility but for that their percentage has to be 90% above in 12th class around 10 students are scholarship getting from each course.

In my batch their were 30 girls and 45 boys, and everyone was having a good bond between them and all of us used to take part in each and every single event so that we can learn together, all of the labs were pretty good and easy to learn as per the module.

No i had not opted for the hostel facility as college was on 1hour distance from my home But yes university has its own hostel facility which can be easily availed and they were having their own mess to serve the food.

Yes as per my point of view senior and college staff both were helpful. As everyone starts its college journey and are afraid how they survive in the campus but my experience was really amazing and easy to live and learn with the colleagues and staff

About Chitkara university my college i have heard about this deemed university from friends and relatives. this college has world class infrastructure. everyone after school wants the best college to get in for higher studies. this college was nearly 30kms from my home.I went their with my friend who had finished degree, for the admission process i have given an interview and thus started my college journey in 2011.

Starting from the number of lectures on daily basis was eight and college was six days in a week and in the lectures we were having labs and theoretical both.most of the teachers were certified with industry experience and we have also got certifications from the expertise.
