My experience at Amity University Lucknow

They should have provided us with placements and internships but sadly their Lucknow campus was not so good in providing this.

The course curriculum is quite exhaustive and includes everything as per prescribed by the UGC. Exam structure has been based upon the semester system and each year consists of two semesters primarily. We also had sessional tests before the finals which were evaluated to give us the internal marks. The explanations provided to our queries by the professors were absolutely fine and it helped a lot in making us into a better professional.

Sadly we weren't provided with any internships or placements by the college and this was one department which was to be handled by on our own.

We had two Annual events. Amiphoria which was the cultural fest and sanghathan which was the annual sports fest. I used to be the core committee member in amiphoria. There were events of other colleges too in which we were invited and our students excelled in those as well.

The total fee for my program was around 10 lakhs including the hostel and mess. Considering the location of the college, I would say the fee charged was way too much but being a private institution we couldn't have expected anything else. The fee break down was found given every semester beforehand so as to keep transperancy in that too.

No. I went on my parents money. Although scholarship was provided to top 3 students of every course.

Campus life was the best among the lot and many friends were made during my course. The gender ratio was 65:35(male to female) and students from various backgrounds were present in the college. Inter college moot court was the are in which we were interested and we were sent for participating in a national level moot court by the college as well.

No. We do not even know their names leave apart any sort of help. This is one area where this college lacked too.

Amity University Lucknow has one of the best campuses in uttar pradesh and its law school produces good students for pursuing their future endeavours. The admission process includes a written test along with an interview scheduled there after and a merit list is drawn on the basis of which the admission is granted in this institution.

The lectures lasted from Monday to Saturday during 10 am till 4 pm. The attendance was compulsory and below 75%, students weren't able to sit for the finals. Average age of the facilities was around 50 and they had tremendous experience in their fields.
