The college management is quite organised. But recently in the changing political scenario it has become volatile. Occasionally some unwanted events are taking places which are not beneficial for the reputation of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since it was a language course so no industrial visit was possible but many seminars or workshops were arranged for the betterment of the students. Being affiliated to c.u it has to follow the syllabus of the university but the college always encourages to go beyond text books and explore the world of knowledge.

For English honours course not much opportunities in this regard.you have to find a job on your own
College Events
Cultural activities are part and parcel of the college. Though the college doesn't arrange too many of them but none the less it is well known especially in the field of sports. inter college and Intra college activities and competitions are often being held where the students actively participate. Besides many departmental activities are also conducted
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's not expensive at all. The annual and sessional fees are minimum which makes it affordable for all the people. The admission fee is also inexpensive. scholarship is given to poor but meritorious students. The fee breakdown is very transparent. It's not a private institution. Therefore the financial burden is not something that the students have to carry out.

Yes the college offers scholarship to poor but talented students. Have to mention it in the time of admission. The official valid documents are to be provided by the students.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is quite commendable. Discipline has to be maintained and there are separate dorms for girls and the boys. The college has diverse range of students. And no discrimination is there against any class, gender or religion. The students enjoy a lot of freedom and liberty.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are quite helpful. But generally varies from course to course. Due to social networking sites now a days it has become easier to get connected with the seniors or alumni network.
Admission
The college is located in an extremely convenient place. Shovabazr metro station is stone's throw from the college. The faculty and facilities both are quite good. The admission fee or monthly fees is minimum. And the results are also satisfactory. English being a global language if not the most popular one wanted to take up the course to enrich my knowledge in English literature.
Faculty
There are around 3-4 permanent lecturers along with few other part-time teachers. All are extremely knowledgeable, erudite and most importantly helpful as well as kind. Most are senior faculty members and experienced therefore the subject knowledge they have is unparalleled.
