CET for Engineering. scored 101/200. Ultimately dropped engineering and opted for Commerce. The admission process need to be simplified. It's very complicated with the new online form filling, college preferences and all.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was not at all elaborative. Studied almost 36 subjects in 3 years. Averaging about 6 subjects a semester. By the time the new semester arrives, you forget almost everything about the previous semester. It was like Jack Of All Trades, Master Of None.
Internships Opportunities
I never applied for the internship programme so I have no knowledge about it. But in general the stipend offered was on an average Rs. 6000/- per month.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities were limited. There were many reputed companies who had came in the college for placement but hardly picked any students.
College Events
The college organised two functions a year. One an inter college festival and the other an intra college festival. Students are given the freedom to organise the event and are given a relaxation in the attendance issue.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for my course was a little expensive considering the infrastructure facilities provided by the college was not up to the mark. As the semester passed the fee structure kept on increasing.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't think so the college gave loan facility and neither a scorlarship. They just had specialist guidance counsellor for mapping a path for students who wanted to continue their studies abroad.
Exam Structure
Exams structure was the worst. It was really hectic. As there there was no study leave between subjects and we had 6 papers to write in 6 days.
Faculty
The faculty standards was really amazing. We had visiting faculty, who actually have worked in sector of what they taught. Teachers were really helpful too. and always just a call away.
