MY COOL COLLEGE

This college is one of the greatest college to do your undergraduation as it has experienced teachers and a good management which manages academics,sports and extracurriculars equally.

The course curriculum is framed by Madras University. The syllabus is light but it has depth. We have lot of practical classes in lab and our teachers explain everything so well that at the end of the year every student would have understood the concepts.

Our college parterns with internshala and provides internship. There is placement cell withi the college which looks after placements. And I too availed an internship on creative writing from internshala.

The college conducts many cultural namely "Manjari" and others. We have Christmas Pongal and diwali celebrations besides we also have "adarsh sandhai" a matket festival wherein the students take part as entrepreneurs. We also have a lot of club fests band department events and softskill sessions etc overall throughout the year we have something to do. We even have project display among others.

It's not less or high. It's pretty average. The college does provide transperancy in fees payment. For first years the fees is high and from then on the fees will be lower. We need to pay a caution deposit of 10,000 while we join which will then be given to us while we complete the course.

No I didn't avail any scholarship or loan. But yes the college offers scholarship and cash awards for University rank holders.

Since it's a girl's College we have a lot of freedom to express ourselves. All the events organised in this college are by the students with little guidance from teacher's. The extracurriculars are enormous.atleast we gave two events every week. So it's awesome. Many girls take up sports practice in the evening and represent in national and international games.

No. I didn't opt for hostel since my house is nearer. I heard from my friends that the hostel roams are pretty decent but the food is average and the fees they charge for hostel and food is higher than normal.

Yeah they are very great. This college has a good alumni network and alumnis frequently visit their departments and motivate the junior students to come up. A sister who was going to US for her PhD in quantum physics came and spoke to us about the prospects in this field, it was highly motivating.

I got admission from merit. I went to the college and applied for the course and after few days I got a call regarding admissions. I opted for this course as I want to explore physics. The steps for admission is pretty simple, ( it's only offline mode) we need to apply for the course we are interested and wait till we hear a reply from them based on merit.

My department has 7 teachers. 4 of them are doctorate holders. My class teacher indeed was a scientist in DRDO before. So, yes the lecturers are well qualified. Most of them are in their 40s while some are younger too. All of the teachers have completed NET / SLET EXAMINATIONS.
