Remarks

Best place to study only suggestion if possible may be to increase the mentorship of students via personal counsellors although there are existing facilities like college mentor and your dost subscription still it needs to go much ahead in the interest of students

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I think it's great. You study courses in first of all branches irrespective of your branch and in subsequent years you are free to choose your interest courses, can try a minor degree in some course or go for research projects in summers and winters. Testing is regular and there are quizzes two minors and one major over a semester. Certainly IITS are know for startups and researches so every course have that practical aspect and indeed teaches us to become a better professional.

Placement Experience

5

Microsoft, Google. Samsung are some of the well known that visited campus. Steps are simple if eligible like CGPA and course req. You go for a test scheduled if you clear companies ask you to come for an interview. In my branch 85 percent students gets jobs. Yes institute has a training and placement cell that handles all events related to placement and internships. Information about internships is regularly shared via emails and posters

College Events

5

Cultural fest Rendezvous Technical fest TRYST Hostel fests Mess fests Club activities HOSTEL COMPETITION Most institute level fests are grand intact Rendezvous and Tryst are biggest fests in North India with guests from all over globe People from different colleges attend the fest and take part in several cultural and technical competitions and interact with IITD students in rendezvous famous artists perform and entertain students

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fess is 100000 per semester for general category online mode is the only payment mode acceptable. No additional fee. Yes college releases circular at end of semester which have al relevant details and breakdown related to fees Other than college and hostel fee combined Mess fee is charged separately Mess fee is about 26000 per semester. Only extra fee is charged if you are supposed to remain in the campus during winter and summer breaks the per day charge during these exceptions are 150 per day and can pe exempted if you have a reason like some research under some professor

Fees and Financial Aid

No but college offers many scholarships on the basis of merit cum means which range from 1000 rs per month to no mess fee. If wanted students can take education loan from IIT DELHI SBI branch on the basis of income certificate

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is best part you could go out have fun There are many food outlets within college and you can go for night mess to have good food anytime if boared with mess food. Gender ratio is 1 to 2 still good for an engineering college. College is full of extra curricular activities with sports facilities for almost every sport and in hostels and well there are clubs from technical to music to debate to drama and many others whic6you could opt on the basis of interest. Students are form all over india from Tamil nadu to jammu and Kashmiri and from west to east but still 40 percent are from DELHI or Rajasthan

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes i have opted for hostel and its really good. You share room with your roommate All hostels are in good condition with clean environment and sweepers always available. Hostel charge is hardly 1000 per month including electricity. Hostel is best place with a room for private space a common room for gatherings library for studying lounge for resting crochet nets badminton basketball court for playing.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a full alumini network headed by dean of alumini affairs and this made headlines when IITD aluminis funded college with 200 crores last year. There are many guest lectures from aluminis as well

Admission

IITS are elite institutes and they admits on the basis of rankings in exam called JEE ADVANCED which you are eligible if you are in class 12 or have passed class 12 with min. 75 % marks for general. You can appear for jee advanced if you have fulfilled above criteria and cleared JEE MAINS that is taken twice one in jan and other in April. Jee advanced takes place usually after a month in mid May. If you clear it you need to undergo Jossa that is responsible for admissions. You fill your choices of college and branch and then you are filtered on the basis of ranks.

Faculty

4

Faculties are awesome. Number of lecture depend on level of course from 2 to 6 hrs per week along with practical hours if applicable Average age although not sure must be around 35 to 40. Most of them are PHDs from various IITS and IISc. Amost professors are excellent and have lots of experience and are ready to discuss both course dobts and new ideas related to industry.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.
