Remarks

Overall i think my college is very good at certain areas but a little bad in many areas that need to be improved. The leadership of my college is in safe and firm hands of retired general V.K. Sharma. College management can be improved by replacing some of the staff members that promote favouratism and biasness. Infrastructure and opportunities provided to students are very nice but a more productive approach can be taken to make students utilise these opportunities at the maximum.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very good, but i would not say that its excellent. Course contents sometimes stimulate extra questions and thereby online study and research in students. Faculty also tries to give the practical examples to students. An industrial visit was also organised for students. We went to SRF industries,Malanpur ,Gwalior. It was a pleasant and learning experience.

Placement Experience

4

I am a student of first year so i do not have a personal experience about the placements but as far as i know, the placements are good. Many of the students get placed in big companies. The recent highest package of 10 laks per anum has been picked by on the students of BBA. I have also heard that in third year, training is given to students on how to crack interviews and gat a nice job.

College Events

4.5

Our university holds plenty of events. Starting of the session id marked by the orientation week, where new students are made famaliar with the college. Next week is celebrated as theme week , it has various activities organised by the second year students, these two weeks are a opportunity for new comers to show thier talent. Then a freshers party is celebrated for better interaction between juniors and seniors. Then a tourism week is also celebrated, which is divided into two parts, the food festival and the cultural events. Each class is given a country or a state which they represent. Also an event named Amichroma is also celebrated every year which is apparently the biggest event of whole year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Detailed fee breakup is not provided to students. There is a fees of 1100 for filing admission form in the university. Next u have to pay a caution money of 15000 which is refundable after the completion of course. Then there is respective fees for each course which is to be submitted on semester basis. The fees of my course is Rs.48000 per semester. Overall fees for the course is 295000. Hostel fees and mess charges are to be submitted seperately, which are 65000 and 37200 respectively per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes i have availed scholorship. Scholorship is provided on the merit basis at the time of admission. Students with marks in 12th standard above than 93% get 100% scholorship, students with more than 88% get 50% scholorship and students with more than 70% get 25% scholorship. I recieved 25% scholorship. For maintaining these scholorships, students have to meet certain criteria every year.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio at our college is pretty good. Infact there are more female students than male students in our college. Diversity is also very pleasant as students from various cities, castes and background have joined our college. As such no discrimination can be seen. There is no disrespect toiwars each other's religion, practices, beliefs or choices in our college. Most of the individuals respect each other's choices and beliefs and also try to understand their background. But yes there seems a little economic dominance at our college, students belonging to middle class famalies may suffer from this problem of partial inferiority. Variouss workshops are also conducted in our college from time to time. There are various societies such as cultural group, literature club, and a team of volunteers.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Since i live in the city, i have not opted for hostel. I know that there is availability of hostel rooms in adequate amount so no student has to opt for PG. Also i know from my friends that hostels are well maintained and the buildings also seem fine from the outside.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors in our college are very kind and helpful. This js probably because of the anti ragging policy of our college. I have recieved various helpful guidance and advice from my seniors which helped me grow better. I haven't really met any alumni yet.

Admission

Firstly, i got to know about the college through various advertisements , online websites, and my friends. I went directly to the campus for taking admission. There at the admission cell, i was guided by Mr. Pankaj Srivastava. He solved all my queries. He also helped me in choosing between BBA and B.Com hons. Then i filled the form for the latter. After some days i paid the fees through draft and joined the college from next week. I chose this college based on its infrastructure, proficient faculty, and the reviews of my seniors.

Faculty

4

On an average we have 25-28 lectures per week( Monday to Friday). The faculty of the college is overall above average. Some of the teachers are very good at thier job. They control the class effectively, complete the course effeciently and can explain almost all the topics with ease , including the examples from real life. But there are some teachers who are not so good at explaining, they just complete the syllabus for the sake of name. Most of the faculty members hold a P.hd. in thier subject. Average age of faculties might be somewhere around 35.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects are all theoretical, don't expect practical knowledge, syllabus for many subjects is very extensive and Faculty wont even complete the syllabus. You need to study most of things on your own. They would bombard you with 3 tests for internal assessment for each subject and sometimes they take it as suprise test and sometimes even test for 2 subjects might clash on the same day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course only because I didn't knew what to do at the time when I passed out from my school. The course structure is seriously required to be updated as it doesn't provide practical knowledge of the work that is actually being done. The level of exams is also very easy as it doesn't ask the questions to challenge the aptitude of the students appearing for the exams. One can pass the exams even without studying a lot and it doesn't require rigorous preparation academically which can help students to gain useful knowledge about the course.
