Placement is bad. Some tecagera are really rude. Infrastructure is good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The College is average. The rating is AAA+. Some teachers are really good and some are not. Campus placement is not good. They are not focus on bringing new company. Poor placement committee. So I suggest don't take admission in this college Yes industrial visit are organised in our College. But for mechanical and civil the placement record is not so good. There is only one company came for mechanical having core branch.
Placement Experience
There are some companies that provide internship after selecting students. But they give very less salary.
College Events
1. Apratim- college fest 2. Jagran- organised by hosteller 3. Paath All events are really good. Apratim is out college annual function program name. Punjabi singers come. One day is for DJ night which is really a cool experience. Jagrata is also organized in our College.
Fee Structure And Facilities
2. 5 lakh approx for 4 years. Payment is done by sbi portal. There is no management quota as college is affiliated by Punjab university and it is government college in Chandigarh managed by Chandigarh administration. You have to pay semester wise fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got scholarship for being top 6 in my branch. I received scholarship 2 times. For that you have to study hard.
Campus Life
Generally around 1000 students are there in our College compromising first, second, Thurs, fourth years students. There are more girls in cse and ECE branch but in mechanical there are 2-3 girls out of 75 students. Which is very less. There are many group in our College like Beatles fir dancing, dramebaaz for drama group.
Hostel Facilities
No, I didn't opt for hostel as I am living in Chandigarh. Some of my friends are in hostel. The hostel is averaged. food quality is also average. 7 days menu is fixed day by day. The hostel fees is very less.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes it is good, some senior really helpful. Student are well connected with each other, also sometimes help to de any situation.
Admission
I am interested in mechanical engineering and I choose this college as it is government college and it is in my city. It is 13 km from my house. Infrastructure is also good. Transportation is easily available. The admission is based on jee mains. After you got rank you have to verify your documents.
Faculty
Basically there are 7 lectures of 1 hour each. Lunch is of 1hours. Some teachers are really good and try best to tech student. the teachers are highly qualified. There are lectures as well as lab classes. Some faculty really helps students to get rid of any problems.
