Remarks
Good college with best staff and moderate placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
In the first year of BTech, courses are same for all branches. Most of the basic courses like C language, Physics, Python language etc. The labs in the college are well equipped with all the necessary things. However, the technicians in the labs are not well trained.
Placement Experience
In the year 2018, out of 1200 students almost 1000 people are placed in companies like Capgemini, mu-sigma, NTT Data etc. However, placements in 2019 is bit less when compared to 2018 and most of peole placed in off-drives rather than in college.
College Events
Every year, there will be annual event called Ashv. Most of sports will be played. There will be musical contests, dance contests and many more. It's a 2 or 3 day event in which first day will be dedicated for completely educational purposes. And rest are allocated for cultural activities and sports.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My course is Electronics and communications engineering. For me, the yearly fee in the year 2015 is 89, 990. Out of this 35000 was covered by the government fee reimbursement. And there will 1500 exam fee every semester which sums upto 12000 by the end of the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't get any scholarships as I am from OC category. However, there will be scholarship opportunities for other categories.
Campus Life
Gender ratio in the college is 1:1. When comes to workshops, there will definitely be 1 workshop or similar kind of event every month. And they don't just conduct for the sake of conducting, they put lot effort to make it successful. And also there will be dedicated lecturers for the events.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. I was staying in paying guest rooms. However, college also provides hostel facilities. Average rent for PG's in madanapalle is 4000rs. for 4 sharing rooms. Yearly fees for the college hostel is 55000rs.
Alumni/Alumna
Personally, I didn't have any contact with my senior regarding placements or anything. May be it's happened only for me as I wasn't much interactive with seniors.
Admission
I got into this colge through the state level entrance exam called EAMCET back in year 2015 which I wrote after my intermediate. I selected Electronics and communications engineering as specialization. I choose this college based on its reputation in the state. I heard that it was one of the best at that fee range at that time.
Faculty
As far as I remember, count of lecturers surpass 70 in my course in the year 2019. And the best thing is all the lecturers are PhD holders except for lab technicians. Most of the lecturers are experienced, although some are recent PhD holders. The knowledge of them in their respective fields is considerable.
