Remarks

The college is a place for all round development of a student, to prepare them for a bigger role in life. To help students build a personality to face challenges in life but I am sad to say that Seth Anandram Jaipuria College won't help you in anything except one that they will provide you a graduation certificate after 3 years. The college management won't be responsible for any of the faults made by the faculty and students will have to suffer it all.

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

The education faculty in the college is not at all appropriate with a very sick studying environment for students. The only reason most of the students attend the college is to get their attendance recorded and not to study anything. Curriculum is not at all designed to give students specific knowledge about industries working and account management. No industrial visit has ever been arranged by the college and I am in third year.

Placement Experience

0.5

I don't remember a single company except one Byzus which came in our college for placement. There is no opportunity for internship or placement in the college. Institution has never taken any step for the placement of students.

College Events

0.5

Freshers day Holi and Dandiya nights are few of the college fest organized in the college that too where students from all other colleges will come and the place will go very crowded and you will prefer to leave the place. Freshers is a good program managed by seniors of the college where students are given opportunities to show their talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Mode of payment accepted is online either Debit card or net banking. The college fee is very nominal and no extra charges has to be paid in order to secure admission in the course. There is complete transparency in the fee breakdown of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan and neither the college provide any scholarship or such as the fee structure is very feasible. I have no idea about any criteria where are providing this scholarship.

Campus Life

0.5

The campus life in the college is worst with no recreation facilities for students. Evening batch is completely boys and Day is co-ed and morning batch is only girls. Students parties are only organized during teachers day or children's day. Seniors in the college are cooperative. There is no biasedness in any form.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are cooperative and will help students but expecting them to help you in your development is something you shouldn't expect. There is no interaction with alumni of the college and I in third year don't know a name of single one of them. Although you will find few seniors who will make you believe the reality of life.

Admission

To get the admission in this particular college one just needs to fill form after their results of 12th. After few days their will be a cutoff published by the college with its first list of selected candidates which is generally around 87-90 percent for evening batch. 93-95 for Day batch. Similarly after all the lists have comeout their will be a day for verification of your documents and after verification their will be a final date to collect your college documents. Firstly I didn't wanted to choose this college but I had no options left as I didn't fill my forms properly so filling proper college forms in must. Bcom hons is course which majority of the commerce students choose after +2 just because after graduation students have a lot of opitons to pursue their career in this field like they can do MBA and students do professional courses like CA CFA CMA actuaries along with this graduation course.

Faculty

1

No of lectures per day in my course is 4 each of one hour and in a week there are around 23 classes in total. In 23 you can easily assume 6 to 7 classes as free because teachers will be absent or busy in some kind of personal work. Teachers in the college will be of age between 25-55. There are teachers who will be excellent in explaining all the relevant details about the subject and syllabus but there are teachers who won't even explain the syllabus properly. No lectures hold any relevant industry experience or certification.

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.
