The overall experience at Amity University is really good.Be it studies or any other extra curricular thing like events, sports etcOne should first visit the college, see the environment and then join, because many people are unsatisfied too.In my opinion

Entrance Preview

I took JEE, and my rank was 110, Because I heard the educational facilities here are good plus the overall college experience too

Internships Opportunities

Many companies came, like infosys, ITC, Wipro etcWe get a wide range of companies. Many event management companies were also there. As they were not paid internship's so no stipend offered.

Placement Experience

If you score good marks, stand out from the general lot, you'll be placed well thats for sure, because of the placement resources Amity has. Same here also, if you have a good knowledge of your subject and your field, job opportunities will increase.

College Events

Amity Youth Fest - it is the biggest fest which happens in our college, there are many celebrities, famous musicians, speakers who come and address the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee's is appropriate. As it is a private university, people find it expensive. One should try for scholarship here, as there are any types of scholarships offered.

The Campus life is amazing, i dont think i'll be able to fully discover my college during my term here. Its big and loaded with many student facilities, making college life awesome.

Hostel Facilities

I m a day scholer, so i have less idea about the hostel, but from what i've heard, it has all the basic amenities a student need.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are mostly cooperative but can be a pain sometimes. Keep your distance, because you never know what they might feel about you.Have no idea about the Alumni Network.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good, we get enough time to prepare.The internals happen in a week, sometimes 2 in a day.In Externals we get sufficient time to prepare.

Faculty

Faculty is really trained and most of them are Phd's, so they know what they're doing. The only problem is that the Faculty keeps on changing very frequently in some subject

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. But the major part of me for choosing this college is because I was denied by my parents to learn animation as that was my first preference. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk. Admission process for Amity is quite moderate, you have to have 70% aggregate in PCM to apply for BTECH, and the students have to go through an interview round to get an admission letter based o nthe interview...Read More
