The College Management is very keen on the Personal as well as academic development of the students.

I have secured admission based on the 12th Standard Marks. I have selected the course as it would help me to choose the biotechnology for my masters degree.The college have a very good reputation for the undergraduate and graduate courses, which made me to choose the college fgor my undergraduate course.

The course curriculum mainly concentrated on the Bio-Chemistry, Bio Technology & Microbiology subgects along with the basic mathematics, statistics & Language Electives

As a bio-chemistry student, I was reffered to Dr. Kuppusamy Naidu Memorial Hospital in various departments like, Pathology, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank etc for a months Training. It was a non Paid Training.

There was a placement cell running in the college for Managing the Placement activities. For the under graduate courses, the companies looking for the candidates were comparitively less. But for the masters level courses, Many reputed companies like Biocon, Shantha Biotech etc used to conduct Interviews for selecting candidates.

The college was very famous for conducting various cultural events like the Confluence (Commerce Inter Collegiete Fest) Melange (Management Inter Collegiete Fest), Bio Enigma (Bio Technology Inter collegiete Fest) and various face to face sessions with famous personalities International Level Work Shops and Seminars.

It was very feasible for the students from Middle Class families and During the 2001-2005 Period, the semester fees for B.Sc Bio chemistry was around 6000 Per Semester.

There were no scholarships or loans offered to the students during the Period. Not aware of the current situation.

There were opportunity for various extracurricular activities along with the academic facilities. There was an Indoor Stadium as well as a Basket Ball Court, Basket Ball Tournaments as well as other Inter College Sports as well as cultural fests.

There were seperate hostel for Boys as well as girls inside the college campus with all the facilities and mess and security. Both hostels had wardens for taking care of the students.

The alumni network is not working in a full fledged Manner. Though the personal contacts and interaction with the alumni is good. Most of the students in our batch as still in touch with their batch mates anbd the seniors.

The College was affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore during that time. Then the exams were conducted and overseen by the university.Lated the college became a deemed university affiliated to bharathiar university and the exams were being conducted by the College Management.

The faculty standards were extremely good and were always approachable for academic as well as personal development. All the Faculty were either Masters degree holders or PHD Holders in their relevent fields.
