Course Curriculum Overview
Course was a normal graduation honors which had maths, computers, Business, Accounts etc as subjects. It was not at all research driven and was very basic. It didn't help me much in my profession as today I am doing my own work and only help I got through this course was strong calculations
Placement Experience
No placement. According to our college if we need job we should find in our own. No placement was provided through college.
College Events
Only valentines day n similar days which student use to celebrate among themselves. Nothing organized by college. So there was no exposure to these festivals also. This college is basically only for classes and canteen and a centre for exams with nothing extra facility.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Around 50000 yearly and computer course which I did separately was for 40000. Fee breakup was proper and clear. Average college with average fees and average studies. No extra charges amount paid for admission. As bribe I had to join that computer course for admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no scholarship in this college It was mostly in first cum first serve basis but girls were given first priority.
Campus Life
No extra curricular activities. Campus was also very small. Most of people join this college only for graduation certificate. Either you do some other course with it or start working. Gender ration Boy : girl should be around 10:6. This college is only for certoficate purpose not for proper course
Hostel Facilities
I stayed at my uncles place. And on top this college dont have hostel. In calcutta there are many places which are only for students like poddar chatravas where students use to live which was affordable and clean also.
Alumni/Alumna
nothing no interaction with seniors nor theirs any alumni club. College dont even organize anything.
Admission
Admission was through a simple interview and it was done. It was in August 1998. Being from a small city I had very less exposure of courses I could do and parents also wanted me to do only B com. Admission process was quiet simple through form fill up and interview.
Faculty
Average. Even if the faculty is good there were hardly students who use to sttend classes. So its the environment which is bad more than anything else. Most of us use to attend only 2 classes out of 5 classes everyday n depend on tuitions for exams.
