Entrance Preview
GMAT. I got through NUS and Singapore Management University also. Though the fee structure was almost the same for these two colleges and ISB, I still chose ISB because I wanted to settle in India only. Moreover the job prospects in Singapore didn't seem good enough during 2014.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is the best in the country and ISB has visiting faculty from Harvard, Wharton, Stanford etc. So it is the best in the world.
Internships Opportunities
We don't have internship in one year PGDM course in ISB but we do have Experiential Learning Programs in which students can take up projects/assignments floated by various companies.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are good enough and it also depends on the sector you want to join after your course. Mostly all the top consulting firms, finance companies, e-commerce companies come to campus for placements.
College Events
To name a few - Equinox, Bandhan, ILS, ISL, etc are all National level events held in both the campuses - Mohali and Hyderabad.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not much scholarships are available but ISB has tie ups with National banks and other bank which provide loans at the lowest possible interest rates.
Campus Life
Campus life is just awesome. Gender ratio is about 1:3. Extracurricular includes many clubs like sports club, dance club, theatre club etc. Sports league ISL is one of its kind league in any B-school in the world.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are world class. We go to class and we get clean rooms, beds already made and utensils washed when we come back. Laundry is given the next day. Sharing quads are there with 4 rooms and 4 persons i.e. one person per one room.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is closely kNIT and one has access to the entire alum base of ISB.
