Good tecahing staff, In this era, we, the students of engineering colleges respect teachers who give good grades even if they can’t teach properly rather than the ones who teach well and give relatively bad grades. Little do engineering students actually want to learn - the sole motive is to get a good pointer by hook or by crook (for 90% of the students). Yes, I fall in this category too. Hence, I’m not the best person to answer your question. Also, the qualities of a good teacher varies from student to student. It’s subjective.

Yes, the newly admitted boys students are kept in separate hostels away from senior students to avoid ragging. The hostel administration grants financial assistance to meet the mess bills to many needy students. One new hostel has also been constructed to accommodate additional number of students. Several new facilities are being provided in girls hostel viz. washing machines, refrigerators, computers, internet connectivity. One PCO booth is also working in the girls hostel campus.

Max 3 lecture per week for a sub and a tutorial per week. Even though the lectures continued for straight two hours, we use to remain glued to our seats listening everything he had to offer. I must say I never made notes till third year but it was the first time in networking that I started making notes so precisely. It should not be a surprise that I attended almost all his lectures just because I didnt wanted to miss the flow of his lectures.
