No own hostel, no own labs for mechanical department, no canteen
Course Curriculum Overview
Course was good, but we didn't had lab in our college we had to go for another college for labs, apart from that curriculum was good. Mechanical students had to go to another college for lab, and there was no placements and no placement training provided.
Placement Experience
Honestly there was no placements and internships in our college, this is the major drawback in government colleges.
College Events
National festivals, Sports day, college day, environment related awareness programmes, cricket and badminton tournament, cultural events, ethnic day, ganesha festival, inter college quiz competition, project work competition, University level sports and cultural events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is very good, really helpful for middle class and poor families, I just paid 18000 for a year, mode of payment is through bank challan in sbi bank which is inside out college campus. We have to pay additional examination fee of rupees around 500-700. we can see transparency in fee Structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I was not getting any scholarships, scholarship was only provided for families with income less than 1 lakh, mine was around 2 lakh so I was not getting any scholarships.
Campus Life
Small campus, but environment was good, gender ratio was good, and I didn't see any diversity because most of us are from nearby places, I have already mentioned about our labs, and a little less extracurricular activities. But the good thing is awareness programmes are conducted regularly.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I opted for hostel but sadly there is no college hostel, we had to share rooms with another diploma college which is very to our college and if we have to rate that means I would give 2/5 stars for that.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni programs are conducted couple of time, but they don't show any extra interest in this, that's the bad thing.
Admission
I got this college from CET ranking, basically I am from middle class family so I wanted a good college with less fee, so I selected this college. We had to submit our puc and cet marks before admission along with photographs and a affidavit in court since it is a government college.
Faculty
The faculty are good, some are not up to the mark but for the fee we provide it's more than ok, but the good thing is all the faculty are recruited based on their experience. Principal was good and head of department were also good. Some faculty are recruited for part time basis.
