The best college in north karnataka, and among top 10 in whole karnataka. And mostly within top 25 if you exclude IIT and nit colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's fair, though it is autonomous most of the curriculum is based on VTU curriculum only. We get semester wise syllabus on the forst day itself. By which we can prepare ourselves. The syllabus are competative with other colleges. It includes the most advanced technologies.
Placement Experience
There are many companies like microsoft, Accenture, Infosys, Bosch etc etc that comes for placements.
College Events
There are several events, in sports kle cup. In cultural they conduct annual event called sparsh. Wherein there will be tech events cultural events many more. Infact there is environment where each and every individual can participate in atleast one event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
A bit expensive for management quota, wherin we have to pay for 2 lakhs per year including all the costs. If u get merit quota then hardly 50 thousand a year. Even there are many scholarship opportunities also. There is full transparency in fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are many scholarship opportunities. You get idea when you ask that in the office as they change yearly. There is seperate section in management where they handle scholarship for students.
Campus Life
The campus life is the best we can ask for. A gender ratio is almost 50:50. Infact the first engineer of our country Sudha Murthy has graduated from this college. There is robotics branch only. So the labs on advanced technologies are there. I don't say there are best labs but there are pretty much good where we can study alot.
Hostel Facilities
No I have not opted hostel. But had been to it many times. Especially during exam times. The hostel is well maintained, clean and highly safe. There are more than 100 personal who look after hostel including the security staff. There are no silly problems like water scarcity or electricity cutoff.
Alumni/Alumna
They are most helpful and supportive. Yearly there will be alumni meet. Not only in india, there will meetings conducted in different countries.
Admission
As it is the top college in north karnataka, I opted this college. There are 2 ways to get in. One is through CET examination and other management quota. Though the fee structure is different for both. But there is no discrimination among these two. If u can make it to this college, your life will be more than what you have planned.
Faculty
There are many faculty who are both experienced and highly talented. For every individual subject there are experts for it. And if you are interested in a particular subject, then this d place where u get the best mentor. Not only in tech even in sports u get mentors who have represented our country in many levels.
